Oysdam: I pray all 2nd choice asp on this thread get admitted,i even heard from an unconfirmed source that the names of coc and 2nd choice 2 be admitted have been sent to the HODs....the list is v.competitive as the available space is v.small.Lets have faith in God,as 4 me am already a uite in Jesus Name. Damn only 12 peeps admitted through DE for Mbbs I guess is cuz UI don't wanna exceed their Quota of 125 Cuz there are currently 108 part 1 Mbbs students in UI And I think they favor A level to first degree holders I just pray UI answers we 2nd choice and C.O.C positively #Team MBBS# |

Doclight: i'd suggest ppt, coz it gives u a platform to analyse and estimate ur score after utme exams. Cbt on d other hand, might be gud also, but in case u can't be comfortable reading 4rm a computer and solving at same time with limited time, i'd suggest ppt, if it's ur first time. Gud luck! [b]the way this strike they go so Mehn na next year tins Minister condemns ASUU’s conditions for suspension of strike The Supervising Minister of Education, Nyesom Wike has condemned the new conditions set out by the leadership of ASUU as a yardstick to call off its over four month old strike. The minister, who said he was going to meet with President Goodluck Jonathan on the development, said the union wants immediate implementation of the N1.2 trillion offered by the government to public universities, starting with the release of N100 billion this year and the balance of N1.1 trillion to be spread over five years from 2014. Wike, who spoke in Abuja on Monday added, that the Union though indicated readiness to call off the over-prolonged industrial action. He stressed that the Federal Government and members of the National Assembly would engage the union further on its decision. According to him, “ASUU has given new conditions, after they had an agreement with President Goodluck Jonathan at the Villa. “He said, he would meet with the President on the new conditions by ASUU. Among the three conditions given by ASUU in order to end the strike were payment of four months salary arrears which accumulated during the period of the strike; immediate implementation of the N1.2 trillion offered by the government to public universities, starting with the release of N100bn this year and the balance of N1.1tn to be spread over five years from 2014”. The union also demanded that the salary arrears must not be paid piecemeal. These were some of the resolutions reached by members of the National Executive Council of the union that met in Kano on Friday which has been sent to the Federal Government before they will call off the strike. Reports indicated that the university lecturers in Nigeria have agreed to end the five-month old strike by ASUU. If the Federal Government agrees to three conditions. I waz shockd der, i usd to tink all docs nd hospital staffz wer kul pipl, bt i jas learnt d opposite.. I found awt Most were doctors nat 4 d purpose of saving life but for d prestige in d profession, i'av bn deceivd by white movies where docs try to comfort pipl, thinking twaz same here, in Absuth, i found docs dat dint care much, der, ur money spkz for u, a man died in my v.eyes coz de pipl dat brought him cudnt afford 6k, xo de dint admit hm, i wax shockd, xo sm1's life is worth 6k? My dad spnt a nyt dr on drip, nd we wer charged over 20k, my mum tuk him to Fmc, de tld us dr was no space left, dn we went to restoration hospital, were we alxo spnt a nyt nd wax charged 22k, we l8a went to do xray were de found awt he was havin blood clot in d brain, xo dey referd us to UNTH ENUGU 4 brain surgery, or beta stil india... My mum vowd neva to go to Unth coz of wat hapnd in absuth, anoda doc referd us to a private hospital Memfy's hospital in enugu, we jas arrived last nyt, de said my dad is in stage 3 out of 15 level of coma, ie at stage 0 its cmplete death, (xo it is v.critical) d releasd d bomb shell wen we wer axd to deposite 1million 4 nw, if not he wunt be admitd, twaz lyk we were already burning in hell, bt by Godz grace we paid 80k, nd de tld us to get atleast 300k today, guyz tz nat been easy atal, we'r confuzd,.. Where wil 1mil cme 4rm? Wen my mum z being owed 3months salary? ATM my dad z in d ICU, using life support, de said a day in d icu cost 75k, nd de'r nat sure hw lng he'l be dr b4 d surgery...
