Blm12:
Good day sir otkx, my school fees payment has reflected on my portal am happy for that. But, my passport isn't showing anymore. I want to book for hostel and take the photo card to Student affair. What could be the cause of the passport not showing? Please help me
. Thanks

Be patient it will show.

Spaceclenzy1:
Otokx please does Uniport now accept direct entry admission... Cos I saw some admission list on dat regards

Yes this is the pioneer set but note that preference is giving first to candidates from the Ashgroove Academy then graduates of the University before others.

DAramis:
Also she is planning to travel soon. should she suspend it? though she will still use the opportunity to look for accommodation.

I avoid PM, lectures are in full swing so your sister should be in school, there is no security situation in Port Harcourt, we do not know when hostel allocations will start because of the strike. Hostel space allocation is based on availability and is normally restricted to year 1 except in exceptional cases so other years have to buy off space which is illegal from the year 1 who pay but do not want to stay on campus.

I am quite sure your sister knows all of these work arounds.

DAramis:
Please house, I need an accommodation for my younger sister who is schooling in uniport. The accommodation should be preferably inside school.

My parents don't want off campus accommodation. She claimed that she cannot be able to secure accommodation.

Please, whoever has half bed space to sell (shared space with reasonable price) should indicate please.
It is urgent please.

There is a strike in progress, so many services are affected including student affairs, is your younger sister in Year 1? if she is not in Year 1 then she should know how to go about securing a bed space in the hostel.

Noah13:
Please sir
how does one go about paying the acceptance fee?
do I have to sign up on ecampus, before heading to the bank?

Others who have paid should please answer.

saint56:
sir during the online registration......under maths and stats there are 5 options am i to choose anyone or should it really be maths n stats option becus i want to go for computer sci and maths.....sir please reply me

Choose whatsoever option you wish but in real sense it may not matter.

I am not ignoring you, Switching from Biochemistry to Medicine in your Year 2 is not guaranteed due to other factors so your taking up the admission should be to read Biochemistry to the end.

SalamRushdie:
Every house in my estate has a prepaid metre so why are my stiil on generator at this hour of the day

A disruption in service is reported which is being addressed. In some hours all services will be restored.

SalamRushdie:
Yiu guys sound like you have stable electricity before when in reality for most of the day most Nigerian homes dont have light

Some areas do have light and have prepaid meters so that services rendered are paid for.

No light in my area of Port Harcourt.

Noah13:
Thanks for advice sir

I was actually confused thinking it was a different course from what i saw on caps portal.

So i guess no change has to be effected in regards to the course?

You may have to change from Computer Science to Science Education, start lectures first, you will know what to do from your classmates, your lectures should start in earnest by 2moro.

Noah13:
So I applied for Computer Science initially, but I got Library and Information Science under Education instead. My fear so far has been the subject combo, as they are completely unrelated

Library and Information Science aka LIS is a very nice course. The Jamb code for it is Science Education. It has a lot of modern labs and hands on practicals with sparkling facilities. Your lectures will be mainly at the Library building. You should go for it.

Noah13:
Mr otokx

Please can you advice on whether or not to get a
CoC after being admitted with a different course from
what was registered for jamb 2017

precisely uniport

If for instance in Jamb you choose Mechanical Engineering and then applied in the online supplementary for Physics, You will have to do a task on your Jamb portal so that your Admission letter will read Physics instead of Mechanical Engineering.

The Landlord of the rented Apartment should be arrested and interrogated.

Online printout will do.

Donpre:
comrade sir, I'm sorry i would have to disturb you but I really need information on uniport's policy on awaiting results. I plan on using a 2017 may/june result and the original isn't out yet. Would the printout suffice for physical clearance?

Online printout will suffice.

elepo95:
urgent response is highly needed.. pls can somebody who has been admitted and accepted admission on caps be going to school to receive lecture... or can he even resign from where he works...

Yes.

leomarz007:

Prezzkhid:
pls sir otokx, can an olevel printout be use for physical screening cuz on Uniport website they wrote Original Olevel Result Certificate for sighting and my original cert is not yet out....

it depends on the year and circumstance, no physical clearance until the strike is over.

NLC is looking for backyard Christmas package in the New Year.
