Good day, fellas. I'm yet to understand the difference between blood group and genotype. I did blood test for about 14 or 15 years ago, when i was still in the tertiary school(my school conducted the for all the students in my school).

My test result came out and i was given a piece of card board paper indicating that my blood group is AA while my genotype is Ab+.

Pls, someone should explain this. If possible, in a lameman's language.

I think you're mixing it up.

Blood Group: AB+
Genotype: AA

I think that's what you meant to say because there's no "Ab+" genotype.

P.s. Anyone can correct me if I'm wrong.
