Sometimes these people do fake to make more profit. I went to renew my sister car number plate in inland revenue after 4years she had been driving it and paying a guy for renewal every year just to discover that the vehicle number is not on the system .

It's comes with custom duty import ,port clearance etc. Then u go and do court affidavit. Then take d affidavit to d nearest police station for police report.
Then take all these to inland revenue to get vehicle registration number. Then go to VIO office for vehicle inspection and they will paste their sticker on your vehicle if u pass.

Most people that were using cooking gas in early 2023 cannot afford charcoal to cook this 2025.

Nearly everybody is using firewood now. Is that development?

Well, we earn oil money from 1.3-2 million bpd in this country. That would be enough if we had a population like Libya (6-7 million ) or UAE (15 million.). Saudi has 40 million people and earns oil money from 11 million bpd.

Nigeria has 230 million. Our per capita oil income would be far far less than that of Saudi or UAE.



That's why we cannot live like the Saudis and UAE. If we tried that monthly payment for citizens, we would be in godawful debt that would make our current debt look like chickenfeed...no like something a poor man deposits in a bank.

If you read my posts, you will see I scream out loud about diversification, fighting corruption, widening the tax net and also...crucially, becoming an industrial economy. That would even make us earn millions times what Saudi and UAE earn.

Why then should we have bi-cameral legislature. Why should we have ministers for and ministers of when we know we don't have money? Why are our president, governors and political office holders travel frequently on our extacode? And can afford millions of dollars tuition fees for their children abroad.
This country is only patriotic to d politicians not d masses and I don't think these politicians pay tax.
