Not same as leaving Nigeria.
They knew what they were doing when they asked the Igbos to leave. Asking the Igbos to leave would obviously break up Nigeria am sure they knew. I mean those of us from the SS would never stay in a Nigeria heavily tilted towards muslim domination and Arewa knows that.

Did Kaduna Declaration say hausas want to leave Nigeria?

What they said is ibos should leave because they are not ready to participate in a country in which ibos are members.
Asking one section of the country to abdicate does not infer they want a break up?

Politics › Niger Delta Militants Threaten To Begin Attacks by PapaBaby(op): 9:41am On Jun 02, 2017
A coalition of Niger Delta militants has threatened to start attacking expatriates and oil companies’ directors in a bid to stop the pollution of their region.
The decision was taken after a meeting of the coalition and was contained in a statement issued by the convener, General John Duku, on Thursday.
The coalition is made up of Niger Delta Watchdogs, Niger Delta Volunteers, Niger Delta Peoples Fighters, Bakassi Freedom Fighters and Niger Delta Warriors.
According to the statement, the militants also called on other agitators to stop attacking pipelines and join them in their new mode of operation aimed at bringing environmental degradation of the region to an end.
The militants warned that oil companies’ barges/platforms, estates and offices in the region would not be spared.
The statement read in part, “We want to sound this warning to all the multinational oil and gas companies, including servicing and marine/shipping companies operating in Niger Delta water territories that, henceforth, we have changed our mode/scope of operation.
“We will not attack oil pipelines again, but will rather go after expatriates, oil company directors/key staff, their platforms/barges, and their estates and offices across the region, even filling stations.”

Politics › APC Disowns Twitter Handle Over Opinion Poll On Buhari by PapaBaby(op): 12:14pm On Jun 01, 2017
THE All Progressives Congress (APC) yesterday distanced itself from an opinion poll reportedly conducted by the party through a Twitter handle, which scored the President Muhammadu Buhari administration low.

In a statement in Abuja, its National Publicity Secretary, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, said the Twitter handle, @APC Nigeria, with which the poll was conducted did not belong to APC.

The party, however, failed to disclose its official Twitter handle.

The statement reads: “The attention of the APChas been drawn to some false and misleading news reports that the party conducted a poll to assess the performances of President Muhammadu Buhari administration.

For the record, the APC has not conducted or authorised any assessment poll on the President Buhari administration. The media and indeed the general public are advised to ignore the questionable poll.

“The twitter handle, “@APCNigeria” with which the so called “assessment poll” was purportedly conducted is not the official twitter account of the APC.

“Unfortunately, media organisations that published the story did not verify from the party’s publicity department the authenticity of the unauthorised poll credited to the party.

“Recall that the party had on February 21, 2016 distanced itself from the twitter handle, @APC Nigeria, following a similar false report credited to the party on the outcome of the Benue South Senatorial rerun election.”

Politics › Part Of Money DSS Found In Justice Ngwuta’s Home Missing, Judge Reveals by PapaBaby(op): 3:43pm On May 26, 2017
ABUJA – Controversy is trailing the N35million the Department of State Service, DSS, allegedly recovered from the official residence of Justice Sylvester Ngwuta of the Supreme Court who is facing money laundering charges.
At the resumed trial of Justice Ngwuta before the Abuja Division of the Federal High Court on Friday, the presiding Judge, Justice John Tsoho, revealed that part of the money was missing.
The DSS had through one of its investigators, Mr. John Utazi, insisted before the court that the total amount of local currencies it recovered from the defendant’s home was N35,358,000. It equally gave details of foreign currencies recovered after a “sting operation” it conducted at Ngwuta’s residence on October 8, 2016, as £35, 0915 (Pound Sterling), $319,096 (United States Dollars), R50 (South Africa Rand), €280 Euros, 380 United Arab Emirates Dirhams and 420 Gambian Dalasis. However, before transferring the monies which government lawyer, Mrs. Olufemi Fatunde tendered into evidence in nine bags and boxes, to the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, for safe-keeping, Justice Tsoho ordered that they should be recounted. Though the Judge directed that the foreign currencies should be counted in bundles since they were already wrapped and sealed, he said the Naira which were in loose currencies, should be recounted in presence of representatives from the prosecution, the defence and an official of the court. Justice Tsoho who equally rejected request by the prosecution counsel for the monies to be counted at the CBN, stressed that it should be done with counting machine of the court. Meantime, at the resumed hearing of the matter on Friday, Justice Tsoho revealed that N22,160. 00 was missing from the money. While FG claimed that it tendered a total of N35,358,000, the Judge disclosed that only N35,335,840 was tendered before the court. Sequel to the development, the court gave Ngwuta’s lawyer, Chief Kanu Agabi, SAN, the nod to cross-examine the witness, Mr. Utazi, who is the fifth prosecution witness in the matter.

“Of course the reason was that the money bags, the politicians, had bought over the newspaper. As you know there was a time James Ibori owned and he still does own a newspaper today.
You will never find Sowore naming Tinubu as one of the corrupt people in Nigeria. He will name everybody except Tinubu, I wonder why.
