That's because inexistent beings can't do shit in real life. I also used to be fond of fasting when I was still a christian. There was a time I heard people used to hear God's voice so I said to myself. Lemme hear this voice too. So I embarked on a fasting.
I fasted for 6 months straight, at the beginning of every month, I'd go on 7days dry fasting, the rest of the 2weeks plus would be 10-10, then I'd end with 7days dry fasting again. And I did that for good 6months on a roll with every day vigil and intensive prayers every now and then, here and there. With maximum consciousness with repect to "righteousness" . I didn't even have the strength to "sin". As they call it.
