Boko Haram jihadists have killed four

where they torched an army base a day
after killing seven civilians, a soldier and

I wouldn't have said anything on this thread but for the issue raised here because it bothers on Aqeedah (Islamic fundamental creed) and it needs to be clarified because of my Muslim brothers and sister.

About isa (Jesus) being called word of God, its not out of tune, it is just a way of honouring him and exalting him (I will explain this at the later part of the post). Allah called the Ka'abah "the house of Allah", any rightfully thinking person would know it doesn't mean He resides there, its just a way of raising it above other houses. Allah called the she-camel of Salih "the she-camel of Allah" I believe we all know it doesn't mean Allah rides it.
Now back to the word of Allah issue, it is stated what the word is clearly in Q19v35 "It is not befitting for Allah to take a son, exalted be He, when he decides a matter, He only says to it Be and it will Be". the verse was revealed in connection to the miraculous birth of Jesus, hence it means when He decided it was time, He said Be! (His word) and Isa was conceived. And Muslims believe that the creation of everything including every human was from the word Be! and we all came to being. hence using the word His word for Jesus doesn't make him god or super human, we believe just like Allah did with other things, it was a way of honouring and exalting him.

I could provide further evidences to support this but would stop here for fear of making it too long
