Don1985: beware, the person that is giving you this information is your greatest enemy because you will regret and it will be a wasteful of time and money...
Thanks to you,the person that gave me this information said the last person has a supermarket job for 1000 euro a month, though thats about 500k and that house rent is just about 50k according to him sha,so that's all I know for know.we have scheduled a meeting some days coming.thanks all the same.i appreciate your kind gesture.God bless you.
dasparrow: You can't just cross over to Canada if you wish because Canada is not your father's land. On what visa do you plan to cross over to Canada? On a tourist visa? For your information, these western countries are very much aware that Nigerians tend to overstay their visa if granted a temporary visa so they make it difficult to get a visa. If it is on a permanent residency permit visa, then you just have to wait till you hear back from them.
There is nothing going on in Cyprus and there are zero decent paying employment opportunities for Africans. They don't even have enough jobs for their own people talk less of having jobs for Africans. So going to Cyprus is useless.
Another thing you need to keep in mind is that if you live in a foreign country and intend to move to another foreign country, you will have to show the Embassy of the country that you intend going to that you are living legally in your current foreign country of residence. So, you have to show proof that you are living in Cyprus legally before you can even consider moving to Canada if at all you qualify for their visa.
Since they are hardly any good paying jobs available for Africans in Cyprus (both north and south), how do you intend to prove financial stability to qualify for Canadian visa? I know Nigeria is becoming unbearable but don't just migrate anywhere out of desperation because you will just end up in a worse situation than the one you are trying to run away from.
And to be honest with you, a time will come when Africans will no longer have anywhere to run to because an increasing number of Europeans and other white nationals don't want Africans in their homelands. I am speaking from experience and what I have observed. So take note of that too.
Yes,thank you for taking out time to reply.for Canada, initially it's a work visa, but it's been over a year now and now considered students, but delay in getting my transcript is not helped,so someone now introduced me to Cyprus and told me he has moved about 6 people down, the last one being a young lady with a job of about 1000 euro/per month according to him sha.he said it will be through study but one may then decide not to,I then had to do my research and seek opinions of those who have the knowledge and experience.this is the journey this far. God bless you/yours.
Alphajunkee: It depends on the part of Cyprus you are going to and ur reasons for going there. Cyprus is divided into two parts, North Cyprus and South Cyprus. The north is an island that is not recognised by the EU as a country (only recognized by turkey) and it is inhabited by the Turkish while the south is internationally recognised is in is inhabited by Greek cypriots. If you are going for studies it's easier to get into North Cyprus they have good schools that are internationally recognised though u would have to do your own research. Life is also cheaper in the north than the south. South Cyprus also has good international schools though it is harder to get into the country as it's part of EU. If you are going for work just forget North Cyprus because it's an island so there is no work especially fo black people except u want to do labourer work and be paid peanuts. South is better though when compared to north but there are not much jobs and u might need to learn a little Greek and the pay is average maybe for ur bills and all. If ur going to any of them as a student make sure u have a sponsor or can take care of yourself if not life go hard u ooo.
Hope this helps

Kindly share your honest views.i was making plans to relocate to Canada about 12 months ago,but the process has stalled.i was then told about Cyprus that the cost of living is quite low and that I could actually cross to Canada from there if I so wish.please advise me on what to do as I am tired of waiting.God bless us all.
