As for the governor Adeleke, rather than use this as only a means to score cheap political point, you should be looking into the kind of laws or loopholes in the law that will give a judge that kind of power to sentence someone to death over theft of a chicken. Tinubu has done the right thing but it has been done late (but there's no good time to do it). The rewards would come later, not now.
