Why can't you visit the NIMC State HQ or the the LGA office nearest to you?

I deserved whatever you throw at me. Even me can't explain how i fell for this cheap scam. I have been on nairaland since 2002 I scam no one.

My attention has been called to some thread opened by a scammer and blackmailers by name Chimakpam Nwana who opened several thread on nairaland to black mail me.

For record purpose, have decided to put out details account of what happened for the public.

I saw several thread where adverts were made here on nairaland for people to correct errors in there NIN and I contacted the number written on the advertisement. https://www.nairaland.com/7103450/how-validate-nin-both-online. (O 9 O 6 5 4 1 O 3 5 7 ).

We discussed and he assured me that the correction will be made without wasting time. He asked for the printout of the NIN to be corrected and I sent it to him. He told me that it will cost me 7k for the job to be done and I bargain for 5k which he agreed to. He sent me his account details

Bank Name : Guaranty trust Bank GTB
and I pay 5k to the account.

After a week the corrections were not made and I called his attention to that effect but he ask me to pay 5k additional for him to see people that will submit the correction but I refused.

I left the chat but he called me back with his whatapp after a few minutes threatening that I have to pay him 100k and failure to do, he has my NIN printout and will make my life miserable and I won't be able to travel BLA BLA . The next thing I saw was that people are calling me that I am been called out as a scammer on nairaland. Attach here are some of the evidence I was able to save before he deleted our conversation and block me on WhatsApp.
