If Tunibu decides to remove the subsidy, it would make him seem like the most incompetent president ever. But I know how brave Tunibu is, and I believe no amount of criticism will stop him from pushing Nigeria forward. Thanks.

Removing the subsidy is their main demand because the people behind this protest are the ones benefiting from it, and they want it back to drain Nigeria even more.

This decision is the right move to improve Nigeria. We've already seen how he increased the allocation by 41%. I can't understand what these people are thinking when they say Timangu is on the wrong path.

To make Nigeria better, everyone needs to make sacrifices. What you eat is your responsibility than the government's. Let that really sink in.

If you are a Yoruba reading this, remember if you join them to scatter your region, they will go back to their region and from there they will laughing at you.

Don't allow anyone to vandalize your state, guide it with all your life. Their target is Lagos, don't fall for their tricks. Before you act, remember the son of whom you are.

They have tried all possible ways to send foreign investors away from SW, please and please don't listen to them. They are only there to instigate you, cheer you up to take arms against your own people while they keep their own.

Use your head and reason with it.

When will Nigerians learn the antics of the SE.

This was how Azikiwe positioned his people for a bloody ethnic cleansing they called a coup in January 1966. Same Azikiwe sneaked out of the country just before the coup leaving his friends from other regions to be massacred

CharlyBoy and his cohorts gaslighted the country to a protest that is already turning violent and destructive only for him to run away and hide in a corner and watch the country burn.

The most treacherous people are SE

PoliticsAtiku Criticize Those Chanting Anti-Igbo Protest In Lagos by payaseriy(op): 8:29am On Aug 02, 2024
Atiku is speaking against those calling for Genocides against the Igbos in Lagos.

This is a call to Genocides. Hate towards any tribe in Nigeria is pure evil. After the Igbos, which other Ethnic group will be next?

"The recent call on X (formerly Twitter) for a protest under the hashtag #IgboMustGo, demanding the forced relocation of Igbo people from Lagos and other Southwest states, is deeply troubling and fundamentally opposed to the principles of unity and coexistence that define our nation. Such rhetoric is not only divisive but also endangers our peace and security, as our Constitution guarantees every Nigerian the right to live and work freely anywhere in the country.

History has shown us the consequences of allowing hatred and bigotry to fester, as seen in Rwanda. What began with inflammatory rhetoric led to devastating outcomes. We must learn from these lessons and act decisively.

I call on the Nigerian government and relevant authorities to take immediate and strong action against those inciting such hatred and division. It is imperative to investigate, arrest, and prosecute individuals promoting ethnic discrimination and violence. The rule of law must prevail, and those found guilty of incitement should face the full extent of legal consequences.

Nigeria's strength lies in its diversity, and we must resist any efforts to sow discord among our people. Lagos and the Southwest have long been melting pots of cultures where individuals from various backgrounds contribute to our collective growth and development. The Igbo community, along with all other ethnic groups, is an integral part of this vibrant mosaic.

I urge all Nigerians to stand united against this divisive rhetoric and to champion unity, tolerance, and understanding. Our future depends on our ability to live and work together harmoniously. The government and security agencies must act swiftly to protect this fundamental principle and ensure that every Nigerian can live free from fear of discrimination or persecution.

It is alarming that, five days after this threat emerged, there has been a troubling silence. Immediate action to arrest, investigate, and prosecute those behind this heinous agenda is crucial. This will serve as a deterrent to others who might consider pursuing similar paths that threaten our national security. -AA"
