I think the crux of the disapproval is bcoz the south east wasn't connected. Meaning that one could travel from south west to all the south south states without passing through any of the south east states. And this has economic implications to the south east.

You people are always too sensitive about Obi, as if he is an untouchable God, to the extent you never see the point others are making per how he is a terrible leader and person.

When the whole IPOB, UGM, ESN lunacy began, Obi backed them blindly rather than stand firmly, as real leaders would do, against what he should have the vision to know will will destroy the SE beyond redemption.

Why do you never see equivalent responses of other leaders in the SW for example? When some SW Oduduwa Republic agitators in Oyo donned combat fatigue to initiate violent agitation, Seyi Makinde, Governor of the State, moved swiftly to arrest and deal with them to the extent the episode never escalated and other Yoruba leaders like Tinubu etal did not even have to intervene let alone say pim.

Contrast with the SE where so many of your leaders have the intelligence to know the future horror Kanu and co were cooking portended for the SE yet they kept silent or, in the case of Obi, even became character referee for IPOB members.

You people have a long way to go so far as you remain emotional always and cannot see you have a problem let alone open yourselves to understanding that you can learn from others like how Yorubas and their leaders approach issues proactively, pragmatically and with clear critical thoughts, rather than sentiments and emotions, to forestall evil overrunning their land.

Some of us mention Obi for nothing other than the adage "to whom much is given, much is expected ". You have all adopted this highly flawed, bigoted and patently incompetent character and failed Governor as the face of Igbo politics yet he cannot rise to the occasion to give the SE Kwame Nkurmah and Awolowo-like inspirational leadership.

Instead he ignores and/or endorses what/who are killing Igbo people and society to always be talking about events in the SW, North etal.

Just show me one instance Obi has commented on the horrendous video showing Gentle de Yahoo execute three young Igbo male. If that is not cowardly, irresponsible and callous dereliction of duty and responsibility to the SE and Igbo people then I don't know what is.
