I think all states should introduce this community service instead of sending people to jail on petty case

Community service has been active since 2019 across the 36 states for minor offences and first time offenders as enshrined in the NcOs 2019 ACT known as Non-custodial service.

The onus lies with the magistrates of the various courts to use this instrument instead of jail as always.
