specie1980: I did not go with my sec sch testimonial in the first place, so it was during the interview session that i was asked to bring it in one week. So to meet up with the deadline that is the reason of sending copies thru DHL then take d original there later.

I just decided to make a comment here so as to put u on d right track,which is don't waste ur money and time in sending photocopies thru DHL,it is the same as u didn't present any document at all since ur originals didn't get to NIMC b4 d stipulated time,and mind u its an act of disrespect and tantamount to an unserious attitude. NOTE: it will make NIMC believe u have issues with ur certificates.

nobody knows for now (even DG NIMC don't know)when you will be called. As for highly contested for, NO!. Enrolment and registration is d only one that is highly contested for,except u meant another thing by 'highly contested for'.

I strongly believe that this 2nd sets of Interviewee has something to do with Federal Character while the first set was Merit list ( not meaning the 2nd set failed but the 1st set performed better than them based on NIMC secret cut off mark)

They must hav screened d first batch, leading to unavoidable vacancies, so they needed to fill it up... Dont be surprised dat the pple going on the 7th are 4rm particular states not all states... its applicable to all that have been interviewed, NIMC only updates after a process(stage) have passed.

alasuomowei: During application, i no see number of slots oh, 27 or 36, all i saw was some positions had vacancy in 28 states, some 36 states, some abuja, just like that.. But not slots.

you are correct,its d states where enrolment officers are needed and not available vacancies, note that enrolment officers will take 60% of d available vacancies. NIMC is presently in 27 states including FCT while 9 northern states don't have due to security issues.

its d same thing. Enrolment officer is used to categorise every1 under enrolment and registration whether state,LG etc.

A friend wrote in Akure,applied for Enrol..(State),was called for interview on 24th April,7am .

None of you wrote what he/she applied for, You need to state it cos its the only way to be carried along by ppl who applied for same.

hulkmarcopolo: For those that want to know how much nimc will pay, it is N856,414 for level 08/2.. That's graduate level pay for Bsc and N769,856 for level 08/1 for HND level.

this should b basic salary, then with good allowances the pay will rise.

you will be trained using a computer system on the type of job u will be doing after which a test to check your understanding of the whole process will be carried out, but be rest assured that u can't fail except you only attended primary school.

no! U ar wrong about d ARN, every1's own differs, u can't even know what u applied for through that. What u shd be asking for now is the interview messages sent to applicants of both State heads & enrolment and registeration officers,if the invitation reads as 'enrolment officer', then 'Tonton' may be right by saying all have been called for interview if not then others will get called soon.

mine was ENROL./REG OFF. (officer)_NIMC083...

Also i saw others like ENROL./REG OFF.(senior officer)_NIMC076....

Take not of the job code numbers, i just realised that at the end of ARN... The code number present appeared...********083

you are right about the codes,its d one that distinguishes one from the other in the 'enrolment'department.

not everybody Called for interview would be called for training, for those who pertook in the just concluded interview, Remember what the DG said b4 u left...

As 4me he said, there is Competition out there, that was why we were'nt sopose to blab about what happened or questions asked.... So even after interview, some would still be Screened Out... Hence more could be called at a further date...

The DG.. told Me that even after training, a test would be Conducted... That would also lead to further serious screening.. So plz dont get your hopes too high Yet.....
PUT GOD FIRST... I was surprised when I saw people wearing agbada & slippers to the interview... That one na write off.. Lol

NOTE: not everybody at d interview saw the DG and if u don't know, let me tell u that interview was not conducted all through by d same set of ppl, and as for d test after training,u can never be screened out from a training except u are un-trainable and have forged certificates. Don't mix it up and think training is exam or another screening exercise, just know now that training is employment. As for those u saw wearing agbada,they already have d job, this is FG parastatal,u may not understand what's going on and how it works. Be sure that u will be called for training. Goodluck!

all enrolment and registration officers(state,lGA,monitoring) are classified under 'enrolment' as a department, so don't think it was a mistake when 'enrolment alone' was used in ur interview invitation.

if u are not working with federal govt or an oil company,then go for NIMC' interview,I realise that most ppl see NIMC has just any job for hungry man. Ask people who retired from custom services many years back how they started and how ppl didn't see it or know it as a lucrative job in the early 80s, u can also ask a millitary personnel how d army was seen as a job for d dullards not until 1999,u see graduates jostling for Dssc/ssc now.u can do research on who forms the governing board of NIMC and why its under the presidency and not under any ministry.
