Bros there is nothing like rejected email (atleast not last year), the only way you know when you were granted or denied is when you go to vfs office, collect your sealed nylon envelop containing your passport, it also has a paper alongside if there is refusal explaining the reason.
You do not receive any email from them telling you that you were granted or denied
[b][/b]. The only email you will receive is one telling you to visit vfs to pick up your package as a decision has been made.
If you chose to pay for courier service, the the package will be dispatched to you, only then will you know the decision when you open it.
Now for the agent to have said you were refused it means he picked up the package on your behalf, because how else would he have known the embassy decision?

The way some of you write trash with so much confidence leaves me in shock! So many spurious claims in this your write up. Let me claim the misinformation you are presenting. When you drop off your passport at VFS after your biometrics, your application is processed at Sheffield. Your passport is taken to the UKVI section of the UK High Commission in Abuja through DHL. After your application has been processed at Sheffield, the relay their decision to UKVI. If the application is successful, the sticker visa will be stamped on it (this was before two weeks ago). The UK High Commission sends back your passport through DHL to VFS office you did your biometrics or to your destination if you paid for courier. It is VFS that will tell you that your passport is ready for collection through a predetermined email you used in filling the form.
On the other hand, if your application is rejected, UKVI sends you an email that your application was rejected and they will state the reasons too. Less than 24 hours later, VFS sends you another email that your passport is ready for collection or your passport is sent to you if you used courier service. It is therefore false and misleading to say that there is nothing like rejection letter or that the only way you know if you were rejected is when you open the package.

Oh, I am just seeing this, so you used an agent. Fine, was it the agent that told you your visa application was rejected? If he told you that, it means he collected your package from Vfs global, he opened the package and saw your passport along with the rejection letter, there is no way you know if a visa was rejected (as at last year) without picking up your package, in that case your passport is with your agent, it means for reasons best know to him, he does not want to release it to you.

Don't write trash with such confidence. When you don't know a thing, ask questions. The agent didn't collect any package from VFS. Don't make sure incriminating statement. The agent probably used his email and the decision was sent to the email and that's how he knew he was rejected

The topic is misleading. Your passport is with Nigeria Immigration. As soon who handles visa applications, I can tell you for a fact your passport can't stay beyond a certain period in either VFS or UK High Commission (note, not embassy!). The process of getting that passport back is longer than getting a new one. The choice is yours.

So many loose end in this story. So many inconsistencies. You were raped and the best thing to do is to go live on tiktok. You didn't go to police station, you didn't go to the hospital, no professional help but you ran to tiktok. NOOO. That's not how it works in reality.
For the police in this case, they have acted so unprofessionally. Without any investigation, you believed her story. You took her to hospital for what exactly? Four days after the alleged incident!
