Guy rememba those that wrote PUDE result is not yet out until theirs is out no clearance so clearance will start december beside all indication points that their result will come out november 11th so if 5th feb 2011 is when new student comes in the phy clearance would then start feb after resumption so dec guys be ready by the way wht is GST

guy if u check the statistics of uniben u will find out that online clerance starts two mths b4 resumption 2009/2010 result pume was released dec 3 2009 while online clearance started feb 15 2010 officially sales of the card startd on 8feb so if statistics i laid down are to go by sale of online clearance card would begin next mth nov becos resumption date say 5 feb and by that tym manaul clearance will on going i will also use these medium to say that online clearance is nt hard to the uniben student wo post the format for doc tanks GREAT UNIBEN

Guy lga paper is not a problem yes u will fill it in the clearance form also u have to get it 4 physical viewin neverthelesss go to a 9ja court and get a declaration that you are from ur lga 2 every i would advise pay attention to the little thing even like bank teller recipt bout that thunder guys una think se God no dey vest with our political leader

Guys prepare nov is my best bet why? Becos the admin officers are nt the sport director besides i have been followin uniben since 2008 and for three years now this has been the fastest release of result so far
previous years it takes uniben up to four months to release result.clock is runnin that silly 2008 strike action total ruin our universities academic calendar so be prepared clearance would be this year and guy visit unibenupdates. so as 2 register greeting to all  Great Uniben student any ecostat in the thread

@jazinogold pls abeg can u help us with guideline on acquiring documents for the online clearance so as to be ready

1. O LEVEL RESULT: Please make sure that your O level result is complete. That is you have all the necessary subjects to clear you for your admitted course. If your result is before 2007 try and get the certificate. If it is 2008-2009, try and get the statement of result. If it is 2010 you can print out or your statement of result. Awaiting result should be ready before January 2011; Uniben accepts the combination of two results.

2. JAMB RESULT: Note that there should be no mistake in your name as it appears in JAMB result, if there is, try and correct that with JAMB now otherwise it may affect your admission in future, we will make arrangement for you to print your original JAMB result at a cheaper rate. We will communicate that to you in due course

3. Please note that there should be no mistake in your name as it appears in your O level as this may cost you your hard earned admission. If there is such discrepancy, seek to rectify it with WAEC, NECO or the examination body before the clearance period begins. If you have this kind of problem, you may call for clarification.

4. CHANGE OF NAME: if you did change of name, and your new name is different from what you have in your O level and your JAMB UTME, you will have to do an affidavit of change of name. in addition to that, you will need to put it in a news paper and make sure you know when the news paper publishes your name and keep a copy of it. BUT IF YOU WILL HAVE MY WORD, I WILL ADVISE YOU NOT TO CHANGE YOUR NAME FROM THE ONE IN YOUR OLEVEL RESULT OR JAMB UTME RESULT. A WORD IS ENOUGH FOR THE WISE.

5. BIRTH CERTIFICATE: when the online clearance begins proper, you will be asked to provide your birth certificate. The University of Benin prefer birth certificate from National Population Commission, so if you don’t have one or you are unable to obtain one now, you will definitely need affidavit of age declaration.

6. LOCAL GOVT. OF ORIGIN: for the purpose of clearance, you may need to obtain your local government of origin.

Please make sure you have the documents above ready.
Experience has shown that some who attempt to handle their clearance themselves have run into trouble. In order to eliminate error associated with online clearance, we will soon make arrangement for you to do your clearance without coming to Benin.
