PastorShola1: Congratulations my beloved brother and I specially welcome you to the family of God. Ask God for mercy, locate a Bible believing church of God and let the pastor lead you to Christ and I pray that The Holy Spirit will help with further instructions on what to do about the charms. It is well with you and remain blessed. Amen pastor |

freakyavia: he has to return them some charms are binding charms he has to return them and do the rites in full
a pastor can always burn them and he save his soul but if the deity cant get him due to his conversion his next of kin would be target when they are their moment of doubt You get it correctly |

Akinpresident: 100% fiction
I think I've cracked the code on how to identify fictional stories on Nairaland.
OP, if e sure you say your story dey legit, let's go one corner make I question you so you provide evidence of all these including naming that your village so I'll go there myself and ask the veracity of your claims. Ok. What if you found out it not a fiction? Will u pay for damages? . I have every proof |

gohf: Why can't a pastor burn it?
Is it normal for anyone to return those charms and get themselves?
The devil does nothing for free, gives nothing for free, it's just that you may not know the cost of it.
But I can introduce you to Jesus who will lead you to God and tell you the cost of following Jesus. And when you meet Jesus, you said those charms can return by themselves, look who Jesus sets free is free indeed.
Once you have an encounter with Jesus they will leave you themselves because He that is greater and stronger as come, true fortifications nullifies those charms. You can also try it and see. Glory! |

Mods Please Ensure this gets to the frontpage today due to the urgency and sensitivity of the matter.
It took me a lot of guts to bring up this matter here because I already know the reactions by majority of Nairalanders. I know I will be lampooned, lambasted, dragged, trolled and insulted. But no problems.
In 2018, I traveled to the village and collected some charms. These are charms for fortification and protection against Bullets, Bottles, knives, and other harmful objects. At the time, I had nobody to speak sense into me. Also I felt I acted on Impulse. When I was given, I was tested. A cutlass was used to cut me but it didn't penetrate. A Dane gun was used to shoot at me but it didn't penetrate. That was the first time I ever experienced this, I thought all these never existed for real.
The thing is more like a community thing, we did it openly. I didn't go to a native doctor elsewhere. It was done right in my community, almost all the youths in that community and clan were fortified so as to help them in time of wars and fights against the Fulani herdsmen who come to attack once in a while. Outsiders are not welcomed.
You have the one u can tie around your waist, your arm, neck, rings for slap and others. There's a particular one that tells u of a impending and imminent danger. I was also given some conditions on how to handle the materials. I witnessed one that disappeared from my room immediately I took it home, I went back to the Native men only to find it there. I was told I allowed a woman on her menstrual flow to enter my room reason it disappeared.
I don't fight, I don't look for troubles and I'm not expecting any trouble, fight or war. I'm not a villager. Also, civilization has made me decide that I want to return them, I don't have any use for them anymore. I was told never to burn or allow any pastor to burn them or dispose them if and when I feel no need for them again. That I should rather return them back so that the necessary things would be done on me. My place is very far, I stay in the North. I need to travel home. I want to serve my God now. Even if I don't serve God, I don't see the need for all these. What if I want to get married and my woman sees these charms? I know Politicians do same, but I am not a politician. I need Help
