Whoever has the track record of excellence, let him come forward. Even if it's another Igbo man or woman. There was a time years ago I honestly wanted Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala to step in , many Nigerians wanted her to, but she wasn't interested. It's not about tribal sentiments, it's just that Peter Obi's is not the man and no matter how you guys try to package him after revealing the fraud he was during his governorship tenure, it cannot work anymore for him. 99% of the same people promoting him now condemned him back then. So what changed that he's now suddenly the best person to move the nation forward?
When Reno, Fani Kayode, Buala etc were busy cricriticizing APC and Tinubu respectively but now they are in the same camp with them... So what exactly changed?

Well thinking Nigerians do not believe Peter Obi is different from Tinubu and Atiku or even Buhari. If we were to do a census of obidients today, more than 90% would be Igbos, and the massive support is purely tribal/sentimental. Putting an old equipment in a new carton does not change the quality of the equipment.
So what has Igbo got to do with this?
Even if it would take an igara man to better Nigeria wont you appreciate it?

I'll always chose Atiku over that sneaky pretentious thief Onuku Peter Obi .

I like people who still play fair irrespective of their differences, that's how I am, I may not agree with someone but you'll catch me defending the person elsewhere and you'll wonder what type of person I am. Hatred doesn't penetrate my precious skin.

To those ill mannered and untrained kids that'll laugh at this and spew nonsense you should relax and wait for what advanced age has in waiting for you, it is justk a normal slip which could happen to anyone.
Advanced age? I will definitely be in my home playing with my grandkids. Nah person wey put him hand for wetin him hand no fit carry go dey fear him old age.
I wont dare climb a parade motor in my advanced age sir.

Do you think I'll beg for food even if Nigeria is turned upside down? I'm not really worried about myself but I'm so worried about others that are finding things so difficult all because of the bad leadership in place.
If you are so sure of your softness then do give away of some selected few that cant even afford a meal.

Hopefully, this fate awaits them nextmonth.

Btw, watch as bloggers overflog the biography of this Malawian president in the coming days
Please do not wish death on anyone, even as bad as it may be I wont ever want anyone dead. I would rather have him finish his tenure so there wont be an excuse for his failure.

SmartyPants:
Does "Tinubu built or contributed to the building of Lagos" mean Tinubu will certainly do well in all things as a president? You may not have a point there.
Those that voted Tilumbu was of the opinion that he built Lagos and that was the yardstick used in assuring others that he will definitely build Nigeria same way he 'built' Lagos. Lamido has made it clear that Tilumbu never built Lagos and I guess that has been the reason he has been failing in building Nigeria. It's like a student that bribed his way to graduation, he got a job offer and failed to deliver.

Sule lacks self awareness sha.

Building is a continuous job. Jakande built, Tinhbu built, Fashola and Ambode built, and Sanwo Olu is buikding. Why people find it hard to ackniwledge Tinubu's work in Lagos is a mystery.
His work is so evidenced now that he is building Nigeria, I like the way he has built us to be able to withstand hunger and starvation, I can now treck some kilometers just to reduce transportation costs.

Thank you Tilumbu for building us to be tough.
Politics › Re: Tinubu Never Built Lagos His Govt Not Getting Things Right – Lamido by phorget(m): 8:52am On Jun 11, 2024

We were once ranked the second most prayerful country but here we are with all kinds of mediocrities. There's no country ever built or developed by prayers, check out how Dubai was developed.
Politics › Re: Nigeria Election Vs That Of South Africa And India by phorget(m): 7:50am On Jun 11, 2024
The day we start voting electronically would definitely mark the beginning of our good governance, I know a lot of people that wont bother standing in queue just to vote some rogues, such people will be willing to vote in more creadible candidates without anyone harassing them with guns and cutlasses.
Most Nigeria politicians wont ever subscribe to the idea of electronic voting cos that would end their hard grips on what they believe is their inheritance.

Alexis11:
Regionalism was abolished by Aguiyi Ironsi just to fulfill their usual talk that the Igbos must dominate the whole of Africa. We were doing absolutely well by region until he got there and decided to fulfill the mission of "we must dominate everyone". The same reason Azikiwe fought Awolowo for suggesting that cessation must be included in our constitution.

Regionalism is better because each region is able to manage their resources, security network, build infrastructures without waiting for the Federal Government. The FG is weaker and more economic and administrative power is given to the regions.
Excuses upon Excuses!
If it could take Tilumbu a swift action to sign in the new/old national anthem then I wonder why over the years no presidents or head of states would ever undo what ironsi DID.

You people are just so pathetic.
