Nigerian politics has made people loose their reasoning. However, why would the guy @Segun go to a rendezvous without a plan or something. Was he going for a debate or whatever? I abhor violence and Segun should have diplomatically averted the humiliation and beating or better still, BE PREPARED.
Some Nairalanders should think of something like this. I promise to be there live. Lol |

Naija9090: I dey fear now. For person to put 500 billion worth of assets in line tells me he is 100% certain of his plan. This one don pass joke...nah real deal be this!
My question to Buhari government is...are you afraid of free 500 billion naira assets if his proposal fails? Or do you know something that Ubah knows? This guy's confidence is kinda scary I tell you. However, the onus now falls on current administration to put him to test and as u said 'are they scared of free money?" |

OLADD: On the contrary, I think it's those double-mouthed sycophants who pretend to be democracy activists (but who are APC middlemen) that need to seal their mouths. How often do you hear Falana, Soyinka and others criticising the oppressions that take place in Osun, Lagos and other APC States? Falana is just an attention seeker. It really beats my imagination that you hardly see these so-called elder statesmen criticizing APCs controlled states. However, am also amazed at the right and quietening responses of Fayose and his spokesman especially. Those guys give epic responses. |

Laid2001: read where propaganda was mentioned clearly again in the post. Tomorrow, the same wailing twitinator will blame lai and APC for propaganda that he is currently insisting upon. That was just the caption. The writer has the discretion of choosing whatever suits him or her as a caption and his/her sentiments might come in. However, the body of the article which shows the actual comments of the lawmakers and nothing connotes their promoting/ encouraging propaganda. |

sapiosexual1: Thank-you sir. One has to consider whatever comes from the government as a lie until proven otherwise. That's the sorry state of my country Sincerely, the lies that emanate from all these officials are appalling and sometimes scary. How will you say people employed to handle facilities left them because they can't handle them. Haba! What's wrong with training them . The simplest logical reasoning is that they are ineffective or 'dead on arrival' scraps. |
Health › Re: Lagos Cardiac Renal Facilities Pack Up(pic) by phranseeqz(m): 5:08pm On Feb 09, 2016 |
Iroh88: Honestly. Our maintenance culture is zero in this country. Is it due to lack of maintenance? It was outrightly stated that most facilities weren't working (dead) on arrival. So how do u maintain what's dead? That will be another waste of resources |
Health › Re: Lagos Cardiac Renal Facilities Pack Up(pic) by phranseeqz(m): 5:02pm On Feb 09, 2016 |
sapiosexual1: This is a typical Nigerian problem, maintenance. Instituting and running such a sophisticated center requires alot of political will and commitment. I remember when Fashola commissioned the centre, I told my colleagues that it was a political stunt and an accolade grabbing act, used to drain Lagos money into his pocket. I would however pick holes in the article, some statements there are far from the truth. Telling us that the Profs and Consultants abandoned the equipments cos they couldn't operate them is laughable at best and negates what the last correspondent said. I concur with ur view however, I believe they left because of the inefficiency of the machines rather than not knowing how to handle them. Telling us they left because they couldn't handle the machines is nothing but being economical with the truth. |
