Foreign AffairsPalestinian-american Beaten To Death By Israeli Settlers In West Bank (pics) by PHYTECH(op): 6:35am On Jul 21, 2025
On July 12, 2025, Sayfollah Musallet, a 20-year-old Palestinian-American from Florida, was brutally beaten to death by Israeli settlers in the occupied West Bank. He was visiting family for the summer, a trip meant to reconnect with his roots. Instead, it became the scene of a horrific act of violence and yet another name added to the growing list of unpunished Palestinian-American victims.

According to his family, Saif—as he was lovingly known—was surrounded and attacked for three hours, while medics were reportedly prevented from reaching him. He died in agony while the world turned away. Another Palestinian was killed in the same settler assault. But this wasn’t a one-off incident. It was part of a pattern of unchecked violence and systemic impunity.

Despite his American citizenship, Sayfollah’s life was treated as expendable.

---

A Deafening Silence from Washington

What has the U.S. government said about this? Almost nothing.

A State Department spokesperson issued a brief statement, saying they were “aware” of the death and would provide consular support. No condemnation. No mention of an investigation. No demand for accountability. This stands in stark contrast to how the U.S. has responded when Americans are killed in other global contexts—unless they’re Palestinians.

Civil rights organizations are outraged. The American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee (ADC) called it a lynching. The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) demanded lawmakers speak out. American Muslims for Palestine (AMP) asked, “Will America First apply when the victim is Palestinian?”

But so far, the U.S. government has failed to act. Again.

---

The Dangerous Precedent

Sayfollah’s murder is not isolated. Since 2022, Israeli forces have killed at least nine American citizens, including veteran journalist Shireen Abu Akleh. None of those cases led to justice. Not one resulted in criminal charges.

Why? Because the U.S. continues to outsource justice to the same Israeli authorities often implicated in the abuses.

The U.S. government is currently pursuing criminal charges against Hamas for the deaths of American citizens during the October 7 attacks. But when it's Israeli settlers or soldiers who take American lives? There is silence, delay, and denial.

This double standard sends a chilling message: Some American lives matter more than others.

---

Justice Should Not Depend on a Passport

What makes Sayfollah’s case especially painful is that his American identity is being used both as a shield and a limit. Advocates say: Palestinian life—American or not—deserves dignity, protection, and justice.

Rights group DAWN (Democracy for the Arab World Now) rightly pointed out that the U.S. has the tools to act—it simply lacks the political will.

> “What it really does is set a precedent for open season on Americans, just as there is open season on Palestinians.” – Sarah Leah Whitson, DAWN

---

What Can Be Done?

This is not the time for silence. It is a time for moral clarity and action.

Here’s what you can do:

Call or write to your representatives demanding a U.S.-led investigation into Sayfollah’s murder.

Support organizations like CAIR, ADC, AMP, and DAWN who are pushing for justice.

Share Sayfollah’s story. Don’t let his name be buried under headlines.

Demand that U.S. military aid to Israel be conditioned on accountability for human rights abuses.

---

Sayfollah Had Dreams

He was not just a name. He was a son, a student, a friend. A kind, hard-working young man who wanted to build a future. His dreams ended on a dusty road in the West Bank—not because of a natural disaster or a freak accident, but because settlers, emboldened by impunity, chose to kill him.

The least we can do is say his name, demand justice, and break the silence.

Justice for Sayfollah Musallet. Justice for all.

May their souls rest in peace.

Israel has admitted their mistake.

It is expected that Hamas and supporters would rejoice over this thinking the Church will now become an enemy to Israel.

They will be perpetually defeated and disappointed.

God bless the US, Israel, UK, Canada and lastly Nigeria. 🙌

World leaders who don't see eye to eye should enter the boxing ring and sort themselves out.

Meanwhile, Putin needs to know that Russia is no longer a superpower and he should stop sending innocent soldiers to die in this senseless and needless war he orchestrated.

This is 21st century, he should let go his imperial ambition and colonial fantasies

I will never support the brutal invasion of a sovereign country, the ruthless killing of civilians and the destruction of infrastructure by a mad man still living in the past.

Foreign AffairsIsrael Strikes Only Catholic Church In Gaza; Two Women Killed, Several Wounded by PHYTECH(op): 12:11pm On Jul 17, 2025
An Israeli attack on the only Catholic Church in the Gaza Strip has left two people dead and several others injured.

Two women were killed and several people were injured following the strike on the Catholic parish in Gaza, doctors at the Al-Ahli Hospital in Gaza City said on Thursday.

According to the Latin Patriarchate of al-Quds, the Holy Family Catholic Church in Gaza was struck on Thursday morning.

Father Gabriel Romanelli, the parish priest, and several others at the church sustained injuries in the attack, it said.

The church was also damaged in the Israeli forces attack, it added.

The Holy Family Church, the only Catholic Church inside the Palestinian territory, and Father Romanelli had used to regularly update the late Pope Francis about the Israeli war on Gaza.

According to reports by Italy’s ANSA news agency, the six people wounded had sustained serious injuries in the attack.

However, the priest reportedly suffered light leg injuries.

Meanwhile, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni on Thursday slammed the deadly attack by Israeli regime forces targeting Gaza's Catholic Church.

Meloni said Israel’s months-long genocidal campaign against civilian targets is "unacceptable."

"Israeli raids on Gaza also hit the Holy Family Church. The attacks against the civilian population that Israel has been carrying out for months are unacceptable," Meloni wrote on X.

The Italian leader asserted that there can be no justification for Israeli attacks against civilians in Gaza.

In addition to daily attacks against Palestinians in Gaza since October 2023, the Israeli regime forces have slapped a tight siege on the territory, cutting food, fuel and water to the region.

Meanwhile, Israel has also slapped tight restrictions on relief efforts, putting a ban on the entry of international humanitarian aid to Gaza.

In Palestine, both Gaza and the West Bank host Christians from different denominations.

The holy city of Al-Quds is revered by the three major religions of Islam, Christianity and Judaism. Each religion has multiple religious sites located within the Old City.

In Al-Quds, there are churches representing a variety of Christian denominations, including Catholic, Orthodox, Armenian, Coptic, and Protestant.

The leader of a far-Right Israeli group has risked arrest by apparently voicing support for arson attacks on Christian churches amid an official crackdown on Jewish extremism.

Benzi Gopstein, the outspoken head of Lehava - which has drawn notoriety for its violent assaults on Jewish-Arab assimilation - made the remarks at a panel discussion for Jewish yeshiva students when asked by a fellow panelist if he believed burning down churches in Israel was justified.

He later tried to evade accusations of inciting his followers to fire-raise, saying it was the government's responsibility to carry out what he presented as a religious teaching of the 12th century Jewish philosopher, Maimonides.

“Did the Rambam [Maimonides] rule to destroy [idol worship] or not? Idol worship must be destroyed. It’s simply yes – what’s the question?” Mr Gopstein told the panel.

His comment alarmed his questioner Benny Rabinovich, a journalist, who told him: "Benzi, I must say I’m really shocked by what you’re saying here. You are essentially saying we must go out and burn down churches. You’re saying something insane here.”

Told by another panelist, Moshe Klein, rabbi of Israel's Haddash medical centres, that the discussion was being filmed and that his remarks could lead to his arrest, Mr Gopstein answered: “That’s the last thing that concerns me. If this is truth, I’m prepared to sit in jail 50 years for it.”

He later retreated slightly after a recording of the exchange was posted on Kikar Shabbat, an ultra-Orthodox Jewish website. "I stressed several times I was not calling to take operative steps, but that this is the Rambam’s approach and that it’s the responsibility of the government, not of individuals," he said in a statement.

Nevertheless, the incendiary comments could not have been more provocatively timed. They came after Moshe Ya'alon, Israel's defence minister, ordered the detention without trial of Mordechai Meyer, 18, for extremist activities believed to include starting a fire that badly damaged the symbolic Church of Loaves and Fishes in Galilee in June.

He was one of three extremists detained after Benjamin Netanyahu's government was prompted to launch an unprecedented offensive against "Jewish terrorism" following an arson attack by suspected hardline settlers in the West Bank village of Duma last Friday that killed a one-year-old Palestinian toddler and gravely injured his parents and brother.

Also arrested was Meir Ettinger, grandson of the late Meir Kahane, a Jewish rabbi notorious for racist beliefs who was murdered by a Palestinian in 1990.

Mr Gopstein, Lehava's founder, is a one-time member of Mr Kahane's Kach party, which was banned because of its racist philosophy.

However, Shin Bet - Israel's domestic intelligence agency - recently concluded that there are no legal grounds for similarly outlawing Lehava, despite a request from Mr Ya'alon to consider doing so.

Two of the group's members were recently jailed for setting fire to Jerusalem's Jewish-Arab Max Rayne Hand in Hand school last November. Hebrew graffiti reading "Kahane was right" was sprayed on a wall of the school.

Mr Gopstein was arrested along with 20 other Lehava members for suspected incitement to violence last last year but has so far not been charged.

Lehava - whose name means "flame" but is also the Hebrew acronym for "prevening assimilation in the Holy Land" - regularly holds open gatherings in Jerusalem's Zion Square, where members distribute literature warning of the dangers of relationships between Jewish women and Arab men.

The group held a demonstration at which members chanted "death to the Arabs" outside a wedding between a Muslim and Jewish woman who had converted to Islam during last summer's Gaza war.

It also staged a protest against last week's gay pride march in Jerusalem, where an ultra-Orthodox Jewish man attacked six participants, leading to the death of a 16-year-old girl.

arrages of rockets were fired from the blockaded Gaza Strip on Saturday, killing 70 people in Israel and at least 232 in Gaza.
Sirens blared across the country's south and central areas, with Israel authorities urging people to stay near bomb shelters.

The armed wing of the Palestinian terror group Hamas said it was behind the attack, claiming that it launched over 5,000 rockets at its neighbour.

"We decided to put an end to all the crimes of the occupation (Israel), their time for rampaging without being held accountable is over," the group said.

"We announce Operation Al-Aqsa Flood and we fired, in the first strike of 20 minutes, more than 5,000 rockets."

With all the blitz of thousands of Hamas rockets fired and so-called infiltrations, Israeli death toll is less than 100. More people die in any random Fulani attack on Benue or Plateau communities.

That should draw commendation for Israel's super effective defence systems.

By the time Israel's righteous vengeance on these Islamic fuckers is over, even Palestinian lifestock would bemoan this wrath of God upon them. Their doubts would be totally cleared. No fucking doubt.

RomanceHow Birds Defeated Australian Army With Tanks And Amunitions At War(pics) by PHYTECH(op): 2:14am On Jun 17, 2023
The Emu War, also known as the Great Emu War,[2] was a nuisance wildlife management military operation undertaken in Australia over the later part of 1932 to address public concern over the number of emus said to be destroying crops in the Campion district within the Wheatbelt of Western Australia. The unsuccessful attempts to curb the population of emus, a large flightless bird indigenous to Australia, employed Royal Australian Artillery soldiers armed with Lewis guns—leading the media to adopt the name "Emu War" when referring to the incident. While a number of the birds were killed, the emu population persisted and continued to cause crop destruction.

Despite the problems encountered with the cull, the farmers of the region once again requested military assistance in 1934, 1943, and 1948, only to be turned down by the government.[1][19] Instead, the bounty system that had been instigated in 1923 was continued, and this proved to be effective: 57,034 bounties were claimed over a six-month period in 1934.[6]

By December 1932, word of the Emu War had spread, reaching the United Kingdom. Some conservationists there protested the cull as "extermination of the rare emu".[20] Dominic Serventy and Hubert Whittell, the eminent Australian ornithologists, described the "war" as "an attempt at the mass destruction of the birds".[21][22][23]

Throughout 1930 and onward, exclusion barrier fencing became a popular means of keeping emus out of agricultural areas (in addition to other vermin, such as dingoes and rabbits).[24][12]

In November 1950, Hugh Leslie raised the issues of emus in federal parliament and urged Army Minister Josiah Francis to release a quantity of .303 ammunition from the army for the use of farmers. The minister approved the release of 500,000 rounds of ammunition.[25]
