PoliticsRe: Rivers Rerun: Army Intercepts Bus Loaded With "Thugs Loyal To PDP" In Khana (Pic by plamonee: 10:44am On Dec 10, 2016
It quite funny to believe everything you read. I was there when this event Occurred. It was no thugs! Is group of kpite boys who where going to Tai LG to complain why there would be no election in the whole of Tai as a court ruling recently handed down mandated INEC to conduct election in the whole of Tai. The boys organised themselves and in a bus before the army came with there gun vehicles and intercepted them and vandalized the vehicles and arrested the boys. No one told me this. This came to my attention when I called my diesel supplier to bring me diesel and he responded in a frantic voice, "the army has invaded our community and we are all hiding". I have a dredging business in the Community. I supply sand to CCECC for the construction of Bori road. I inquired what happened as the curfew is not untill 12 midnight. since I needed the diesel I had to enter the community. That was when I saw the uniform men with plenty vehicles and the people they arrested, though from a safe distance. This happened along east west road at kpite junction Not in Khana as the report said. The bus is still there. Motorist passing the road must all have witness this. So is no Thugs as they have labeled it. Please don't believe everything you read mostly online. Thanks
PoliticsRe: Nigerians Reacts To President Buhari's Twit About The Murdered Woman In Kano by plamonee: 11:23pm On Jun 04, 2016
This is the height of religious intolerance. For such statement to be made by the president "that we should learn to respect each others religion" is insensitive, and tacit approval to the jungle justice meted to that lady. A president should uphold the rule of law, and that is preservation of life. No offence whether blasphemy or criminal that confer legal right to mobsters to lynch someone in cold blood. He should be telling us that they will investigate and bring perpetrators to justice even though we know he won't do it. That is diplomacy and crisis management. I'm deeply pained by that statement and for sure the perpetrators would pat themselves in the back and wait for another victim. For the record Nigeria is not an Islamic state even though kano adopted Islam as state religion, it's decisions are not final, can still be upturned by the supreme court. This goes to prove that we are so polarized in many front. God help us. Is simply annoying.

dialogue is the best approach. people are suffering. Fighting the militants who has no interest in fighting you but destroying your pipeline which is the main stay of our economy is bad move. Even if the entire military is mobilized to guard the pipeline, you will still have a lot part unguarded. so let's stop fighting a war that is costing us so much whether we win or lose. I don't see any win in this, this guys has nothing to loose.
