When you hear that Customs made a record 28 Billion in just one day, don't look at it as government magic. That money came directly out of the pockets of importers, exporters, and everyday consumers.

High Customs revenue simply means it is now incredibly expensive to clear goods at the port. Importers pass that heavy cost down to the market, which is why a bag of rice, spare parts and electronics keep double-pricing.
The sad part? We are paying through our noses for these records, yet our roads, electricity, schools and hospitals have absolutely nothing to show for it.

Because, eventually, the burden of cost will be passed on to the buyer. And everyone will feel it.
