To be honest the league is most likely a money pit, if you invest 100 Million Naira in the League now how far will it go? These Billionaires don't want to keep throwing money at something generating little or nothing at all. I don't know what the LMC are doing but the league needs a proper branding and awareness. Try to introduce local companies to advertise on the shirts and stadiums, Europe does this best, South America is worse cause on the shirts of their clubs you'd see lots of sponsors at the same time.

Also the plan should be to sell the best legs to Europe and attract retiring players to the local clubs just as they do in South America. They should use proceeds from player sales to invest in equipment, talent etc. The league needs investors for TV rights, I don't know if they have any as at now. A bulk of the money Premier league teams generate apart from players and season tickets/merchandise is from TV money. It pays a club more even when they're relegated from the Premier League than promoted from the Championship, they even pay these relegated clubs some other money so they stay afloat after sometime or stop if the club get promoted after sometime, I think it's 3 years not too sure.

Maybe Private partnerships, TV deals, Clubs can be promoting Local businesses, and selling the best to Europe to generate funds, I think that can help the league. Our clubs organization can be messy, hope they can get things in order and start winning CAF Champions League and get exposure at the Club World Cup just as Mamelodi Sundowns did.
all you stated are correct but cant be achieve without investors, the remo guy invested heavily built a stadium from the scratch, imagine others follow suit gradually the league will stop been dominated by government clubs, everything should not be based on ROI it should be the desire first. the remo guy is reaping something i dont think its total lose for him

when godwin was managing MFM fc they did not have a stadium they paid heavily to use agege stadium he proved it was possible for a private club to operate in nigeria though the cost of running was it was massive that why one major thing is to own a stadium if you notices ifeanyi mbah built a studium too to avoid those charges, jus imaging we have like 15 private npfl clubs in nigeria you think the league will be this way. there should be sacrifices first. enough of this govt run clubs if the npfl contain jus 6 professionally run clubs so be it

Wow! Nice. Cos I've always been hearing of the club for good reasons. I learnt the owner also have a football academy at remo. This is what we've been talking about. All we need are resources and the enabling environment.

There was a time I watched a documentary on al alhy of Egypt and esperance of Tunisia. Those countries don't behave like africa jare. Why won't they always lead ?
the guy tried he also build a stadium for them, painful nigeria billionaires are not ready to invest in sport they rather invest abroad i remember when dangote was keen on buying arsenal and he cant even sponsor one club in nigeria even if is shirt sponsorship. imagine almost all clubs in Nigeria are privately own all this yeye govt club will be gone, adenuga sponsored he league for a while and stopped, ifeanyi mbah politicalized his club they where doing well but they decline since his death nothing much from the club. imagine the volume of employment a properly professionally run club will generate. but with time we shall get there

This club is really trying. They need to be well-funded. NFF won't come and pick players from among them now. They'd be running after those playing in Europe who can buy a jersey for 5k usd each. Awon ole.
the owner own kc gaming, and a club in portugal, they well funded and well run as well.

Good. Now, that they have been scrutinized and given security clearance. Let us begin to ask other important questions.

1. Why did the so-called contractor have to ship in 89 workers from Katsina?
2. What happened to recruiting within the employable population in Lagos?
3. What is the motive and/or economic sense in transporting workers from Katsina burdening the company further with providing accommodation for them?
4. Will these workers pay PIT to Lagos State Government? Or will they enjoy tax free wages?
5. After the contract, will the contractor ensure their return to Katsina or leave them to add further pressure to the scare resources and over-stretched public amenities in the Metropolitan City?

Meanwhile, there's absolutely nothing wrong with shipping workers from Katsina. But 89 at once? LASG need to ask questions.
all this question i wanted to ask aliko, but our next board meeting in las vegas i will let him know
