Thanks for handling this issue without emotions, but if you read between the lines you'll see funtua is right. No sentiments the south will easily be short change in 2023 if lack of unity and infighting persists in the southern ranks. Of what use is igbo presidency when a typical igbo man is pro division with inordinate devotion and the few that has ever come to power are looters and incompetent.

One thing you should take from what FFK said is this: a typical Igbo man bows to no one. Wealth is evenly distributed in Igbo land and not held by a select few. Hence, you will rarely find sycophants down here. The igbos are still embittered by the events of the civil war and they don't pretend about it.

Lastly, an average Igbo man cares less who sits in the presidency. Be you Hausa, Yoruba or Fulani. Their chief interest is for the government to provide enabling environment for his business to thrive.

What has the North done for their Igbo sycophants such as Rochas (that was thrown under the bus), or even Amaechi that has executed all his projects in the North and none in the southsouth and southeast, or Orji that is currently in prison? One thing you should know is that you can't please the North. They can't unanimously relinquish power to the South and my brothers in the south-West are soon to learn that come 2023.

Inasmuch as Buhari is not our favorite President owing to his lopsided appointments in utter disregard to the constitutionally enshrined federal character, it is needless to say however that PMB has done more in terms of infrastructure for the south-East compared to his immediate predecessor or any other President for that matter.
