What is the point of this your post? Do you think that most people in the East have any special love for the Nigerian Army?

This same Army has been brutalising them for years, extorting them at numerous checkpoints and extra-judicial killing unarmed protesters. So why is anyone surprised that people in the East have no sympathy for a Nigerian Soldier who falls?


This is not an IPOB issue, most people in the East simply dont like the Nigerian Army. It doesnt matter where a Nigerian Soldier is killed, be it Sambisa or Awkuzu, most Eastern will show no sympathy, some will even rejoice

That is what years of injustice, brutality, torture and extra-judicial killings, by the security forces, has turned the Easterners into.
