The major difference between Nokia 5.3 and 5.4 is the cameras Are into basic photography or a camera lover ? No, I barely snap, mostly interested on the interface, battery and general performance. |

Rehpotsirhc: Check the price difference between the Nokia 5.3 and Nokia 5.4 then But no much difference between both |

KingAlabi:Wish nokia can at least do a 5000mah battery smartphone on an midrange, I saw umidigi a9 the other day someone ordered it through jumia, you need to see impressive battery life of 5150mah doing 15 hours gaming and 20 hours on video film watching, one thing here is the price is way cheaper than even nokia 2.4 2gb ram |
Re: The Nokia Thread: 1.4 , 4.2, 5.1 Plus, 5.3, 6.1 Plus, 7.1, 7.2, 7 Plus , 8.3 etc by KingAlabi: 4:27pm On Mar 21, 2021 |
MartinsD12:15 hour gaming ?? Are you sure you know what you are talking about ? Na tetrix the person play? Also Mah doesn't necessarily mean the battery will last longer though, mi is a heavy UI You can still get yourself a power bank Lastly please avoid umdigi brand, like 20% of their devices are usually defective, from personal experience 1 Like |

MartinsD12: Nokia uses snapdragon chipset which is very power efficient this means a 4000mAh will last very long. Umidigi on the other hand use mediatek chipset which aren't power efficient as snapdragon, they hide this flaw by using big batteries(5000mAh) 1 Like |

KingAlabi:It's no heavy ui it's stock Android just like nokia no bloatware |
Re: The Nokia Thread: 1.4 , 4.2, 5.1 Plus, 5.3, 6.1 Plus, 7.1, 7.2, 7 Plus , 8.3 etc by MartinsD12(m): 6:57pm On Mar 21, 2021 |
Rareoil:What you said about snapdragon being power efficient depends on how well a phone software is optimized infact nokia 2.4 which runs on mediatek p22 lasts longer than the new nokia 5.4 and 5.3, so your claim is wrong. |
Re: The Nokia Thread: 1.4 , 4.2, 5.1 Plus, 5.3, 6.1 Plus, 7.1, 7.2, 7 Plus , 8.3 etc by KingAlabi: 8:06pm On Mar 21, 2021 |

KingAlabi:Like I said its a solid phone umidigi a9 better than nokia 2.4 p22, it's G25. |
Re: The Nokia Thread: 1.4 , 4.2, 5.1 Plus, 5.3, 6.1 Plus, 7.1, 7.2, 7 Plus , 8.3 etc by KingAlabi: 10:25pm On Mar 21, 2021 |
MartinsD12: I thought you were still on about redmi, hence the "Are you sure" response. Umdigi runs on Android one, but what I am on about this time is the durability of their devices. I don't think they offer updates on their devices the way Nokia does. |
Re: The Nokia Thread: 1.4 , 4.2, 5.1 Plus, 5.3, 6.1 Plus, 7.1, 7.2, 7 Plus , 8.3 etc by KingAlabi: 10:28pm On Mar 21, 2021 |
MartinsD12:Nokia 2.4 I guess houses a 4,500mah battery, so it should last longer by default because it is the same company that optimizes them both(Nokia 5.3, Nokia 2.4). |
Re: The Nokia Thread: 1.4 , 4.2, 5.1 Plus, 5.3, 6.1 Plus, 7.1, 7.2, 7 Plus , 8.3 etc by KingAlabi: 10:29pm On Mar 21, 2021 |
MartinsD12: I won't say yes or no, because I haven't done any research on both phones, but what I will prouldy say is that Nokia 2.4 will be more durable than umidigi A9. 1 Like |

MartinsD12: Nokia 2.4 comes with 4500mAh to supplement the less power efficient helio p22 Nokia 5.4 on the other hand has snapdragon 662 chipset on a 4000mah. Thats why I said OEMs using mediatek chipset increase battery capacity to cover up for the less efficient mediatek chipset. https://nanoreview.net/en/soc-compare/qualcomm-snapdragon-662-vs-mediatek-helio-p22 https://nanoreview.net/en/soc-compare/qualcomm-snapdragon-665-vs-mediatek-helio-p22 |

KingAlabi:You criticize mediatek that's why I had to prove you wrong using the same nokia as an example, that umidigi a9 is stock Android should last even longer than nokia 2.4 because it is well optimized not just its using a G25, even redmi 9a with the heavy mi ui does last talk more of umidigi a9 which is a stock Android, the only problem I have with umidigi is probably no service center in Nigeria or the issue of defective products |
Re: The Nokia Thread: 1.4 , 4.2, 5.1 Plus, 5.3, 6.1 Plus, 7.1, 7.2, 7 Plus , 8.3 etc by MartinsD12(m): 7:18am On Mar 22, 2021 |
KingAlabi:Durability nokia has it but battery life umidigi has it, both processor wise and new tech features, it does not mean umi is not durable enough |
Re: The Nokia Thread: 1.4 , 4.2, 5.1 Plus, 5.3, 6.1 Plus, 7.1, 7.2, 7 Plus , 8.3 etc by KingAlabi: 7:20am On Mar 22, 2021 |
MartinsD12: If you want to compare how long Nokia 2.4 and redmi 9a lasts, have you use both before? Redmi 9a has a 5000mah battery!, It should last more theoretically. |
Re: The Nokia Thread: 1.4 , 4.2, 5.1 Plus, 5.3, 6.1 Plus, 7.1, 7.2, 7 Plus , 8.3 etc by KingAlabi: 7:23am On Mar 22, 2021 |
MartinsD12:Now it's Nokia vs umidigi?. Nokia 5.3 lasts longer in terms of battery life than umidigi a9 pro. What other tech features are you talking about? Lastly, Nokia and umidigi shouldn't be in the same sentence when mentioning durability. 1 Like |

KingAlabi:Am giving an example using redmi 9a which is not a stock Android phone, we all know stock Android smartphone tend to last longer than those with Android skin, what I said about the umidigi a9 battery is nothing but the truth at that price point it's worth it, the only problem is no service center for repair and also the defective devices that come with it |
