Good morning. In less than four months I'll be preparing to go for my NYSC service but there's a problem. I reside in Abuja with my parents and they are all this holy art thou parents not letting us socialize with outside guys so I'm being told to come serve in Abuja because they will help me do the connection to find work there when I'm done with my service there but on my own part I don't want to go there cause what's the use of going for NYSC when you are still gonna stay with ur parents, I want to explore to a far away state far from them. I'm so confused right now whether to go serve in where things will work well but no enjoyment qnd freedom grin grin or go to another land where I have to hustle my way out and enjoy my service year to the fullest..... Pls I do need your advice and ur reasons too

Go to where things will work well for you during and after service, getting a job in today Nigeria is not easy.
You probably had parents that can help you with a job, please do not mis-use the opportunity and do not take it for granted.

You can still explore there also, forget freedom if you don't have it now you will definitely have it later (very soon)

well, from my own view, you should choose where you want to and not them dictating for you. Do you know if there's an opportunity better than what is being planned for you in Abuja? Pray and seek God's face.

If truly there's an opportunity, Nigeria won't be the capital of unemployment globally. What kinda opportunities do i need if posted to Yobe, Borno, Adamawa, Taraba, Zamfara, Sokoto et al, knowing fully well that i can't settle down there after my service year.

Considering the level of insecurity in today Nigeria, if your parents gave you an opportunity, i will still implore such person to gladly accept that Golden opportunity and build his/herself ahead

Besides, opportunities abound everywhere
