An armed robber was beaten to pulp while trying to rob an Okada man in Delta State, HGS Media Plus reports.

The incident happened on Tuesday afternoon on Ovade road, Oghara, in Ethiope West Local Government Area of the State.

According to report, the youth chairman of Ovade community and his excos received a distress call that there was a group of armed men robbing on Ovade road and an Okada man was the victim.

Upon getting to the robbery scene, one of the robbers shot the Okada man who fortunately did not die because the bullets did not penetrate him.

HGS Media Plus gathered the chairman and some passersby quickly attacked the robbers and as a result caught the suspect who shot at the Okada man while others escaped into the bush.

The suspect was later handed over to the police after been mercilessly beaten by youths.
