Leave me out of your obsession for Dayo. Whatever both of you have going, is your personal business. I am not ashamed to ascribe cognitive intelligence to Dayo and many others on this forum including some of your clapping minions.

But I am sorry, I can't ascribe cognitive intelligence to you, not based on what I have seen. So what's the solution? You would have to start reading and comprehending past 3rd grade level, develop arguments on your own and more importantly, read more than one paragraph without getting tired. I am doing you a favor.. You should change your birthday to either 3/22 or 3/23 because you are being reborn intellectually.

One more thing.. Pick up a book and read! it will not kill you!!
Typing lengthy stuffs doesn't make you remotely intelligent either. How can you "ascribe" cognitive intelligence to Dayo that uses the figure 7 to troll VVD consistently. How can we learn about VVD's weaknesses from Dayo if he only uses a single point repeatedly to undermine him.

You certainly have you skewed standard for intelligence. One thing is sure, Dayo seems to be relatively more intelligent than those who support him.

[s]The difference is, one of us has written peer-reviewed research papers, while the other can't comprehend English past 3rd grade level, can't read past 1 paragraph and needs help from others to make his own argument/ narrative.

Even your clapping minion that you are invoking should be ashamed of his principal.

Pick a book.. Try to read! You will not die![/s]
What do you think is Arsenal's problem this season that made you to be looking for what's not lost in other teams' players? grin

Here is the problem with your assertion. I remember typing "Dayo and many others on this forum including his clapping minions" but of course you have singled out Dayo. Again, whatever personal issues you guys have is your business, go sort it out with Dayo. I am sorry, until I see differently, I can't ascribe cognitive intelligence to @airmark.

Now to Dayo, I have engaged Dayo outside the walls of this thread and section. I have had very serious, sensitive, thought provoking debates, argument, and discussions with Dayo about politics (including international and US politics), religion, culture, race, philosophy, family and other topics. We have argued on numerous topics that are not even remotely associated with competitive sports.

Does this mean we are similar, nope.. Those who have followed my debates with Dayo will tell you we are polar opposites on most issues including the ones I highlighted above.

But.. I am never ashamed to say that based on my engagements/ debates/ discussions with Dayo, that he is cognitively intelligent because he can make a rationale case that is logical and follows a pattern that is consistent with comprehension. He is also able to develop his own argument which is a critical piece in cognition. Many handles on this thread have engaged him outside of the VVD/ Belotti/ Boateng talks.

The same can me said for many handles on this thread! There are tons of intelligent guys on this thread that you can learn so much from when you engage them but once again, I am sorry, even though it breaks your heart @airmark is not one of them.

As for the VVD, Boateng and others.. that is your own wahala.

Anyone that sees sense in your opinions about players or members of this forum, must be an idiot.

You have been spewing rubbish about quality players since God knows when, but i preferred to handle bigger fishes than concentrate on you fingerling.

From VVD to Silva to Pulisic, wack opinions as always. grin

While the entire back 4 for Liverpool is struggling, Van Dijk looks like the weakest link.

o dun were!!!! E pain am say he is not deemed cognnitively intelligent.. You had to even embolden the thing with red color. Na the color of your eyes after crying be that oh.. Blood shot!

You will stay in that mud of mediocrity and drown in it. You can cry from now till the heavens turn red, I will never insult intelligence by ascribing cognitive intelligence to you.

Your stupidity has become inherently alarming and now bordering on a disability.

Do you even have any shame? After schooling you about Silva, you skip, flopped with Pulisic, now you are trying to drag me into the VVD mess?

Take some receipts...

I am keeping it one liners only so you can comprehend. You are embarrassing yourself at this point.

Roland17:
I know it is your list but I will replace Pique with VVD if I could because the latter had a spectacular season in comparison to Pique. I think Robertson's role in Liverpool's back 4 is the most underrated, more underrated than Trent's.
Roland17:
The fact that you are mentioning Campbell and Toure proves you are still stuck in previous decades. My brother football has evolved, you can not sit down there and cast aspersions at Wenger for being rigid and resisting change while you still hold on to Campbell and Toure era. Football has changed significantly and that includes the requirements for that position.

Let me burst your bubble about Luis at Chelsea. Luis is not starting for Sarri because of his physicality, if anything that idea is wrong. He is starting because of his technique on the ball. Sarri built his team around Jorginho, consequently, he needs a defender with good ball technique to move the ball quickly to the middle and to Jorginho. This allows Hazard to be more effective because he is not dropping deep to create, unlike under Conte, rather he is around the final third as Jorginho orchestrates the offense from the middle. These situations are possible because Luis has the ball technique to start the offense from the back. Luiz is not physically imposing, he lacks the power you are speaking about. You seriously crack me up when you use Luiz as an example of a strong defender. It is called "Sarri ball" for a reason bro. Ask your self, where is Zouma and Cahil?

Why is Pep and Manchester City going to continue their domination of the league? Prior to his arrival, they had Mangala, Demichellis, Kompany and Otamendi while Stones was in the fringes, all brute, power and strength but after Pep took over he did away with Mangala, Demichellis, Kompany had to revamp his game if he was to get in and Otamendi is longer a starter. Now you have Laporte and Stones, please tell me they are Pep's starters because they are physically strong! Pep has built his team around passing from the back and that requires technique, abeg tell me how the big strong and tall defenders at City have fared with that requirement? How about Liverpool?

How about VVD of Liverpool? Why is he heralded as the one of the best defenders in the EPL? Do you think it is because of his strength or physicality? Faaaaaar from it, infact when he tried to use his strength last week, it cost Liverpool points because it resulted in a penalty. Prior to him, they had Skrtel, Sahko, Toure, Caulker, Lovren, Matip (tall and strong) and Klopp only got disaster after disaster from your prototypical brute, strong and tall defenders. VVD's intelligence, positional awareness and technique on the ball has brought some balance and calmness to Liverpool's back-line.

Again, while strength and power is important in that role, it is not prioritized over intelligence and technique in the modern game.

You keep on confirming my stand about your person. You are neither here nor there and that's one feature of someone whose knowledge of the game is shallow, always covering up after messing up. Your opinion should not be relied on by any sensible person because it can change in the next minute.

April 10, 2018 - Pulisic17 - ''VVD is the weakest link in Liverpool''

October 10, 2018 - Pulisic17 - ''I always said it that VVD is the alpha and omega of Liverpool, no defender can match him in Liverpool''.

Pulisic at Dortmund - Pulisic17 - ''Dayo, A4lty, Pulisic is fantastic, every striker will want to play with this American god''

Pulisic after signing for Chelsea - Pulisic17 - ''Pulisic that Sancho was benching is who Chelsea fans think will play well for them, hahahaha''

When Pulisic was on a good run last season - Pulisic17 - ''Pulisic is massive, terrific performances everywhere''

When Dayo called Pulisic pussylick - Pulisic17 - ''Pulisic that i condemned before he played for Chelsea, Airmark is unintelligent''

Unlike Pontius Pilate, I will not wash my hands off your crucifixion because I am your GOD, Your "Chi".....

I know you desperately want to be recognized by me as cognitively intelligent, you are begging for my approval and that is why you are tearing up in red but I am so sorry, I cant disappoint intelligent people.

However, there is hope for you.

You would have to start comprehending past 3rd grade level reading
Start developing your own arguments which is an element of critical thinking
You will also need to stop being lazy and put your brain to work by reading more than one paragraph

When you do these things, we will notice improvements and then I can say otherwise.

Any player recovering from injury and not playing has his tank empty and so must go to MLS as you suggested.

Silva's form dropped since December, yet Sherwood tagged him Lampard's best signing around Xmas time. If this is not weeed affecting you, then you need to send 7 rams to Fenibeso for revamping. grin

Ope oh! It looks like all my efforts since yesterday are beginning to yield some fruit. You are now arguing from a narrative that differentiate my position about one of my favorite Milan defenders. Well, sitting out owing to a muscle injury after enduring a difficult December and at 37 is equivalent to retirement. Chelsea can choose to extend him one year so he can mentor your young core of defenders.

Sheerwood? It shouldn't shock you that he is mentioned as Lampard's best signing by December.. Everyone agreed he had a good start from September to December (until after Leeds rans him ragged and he could barely make it out of the pitch on his legs). After Leeds where is he? He turns 37 and I am supposed to believe he will be prime Silva? Some of us that knew that the rigors of the EPL will catch up with him at 36 are not surprised he has been out for this long.

Gonna be a long week on this thread. Epistle upon epistle, while some people dey disguise as well.

Make this international break do finish abeg, so we can have more stuff to talk about again.

As for Pulisic, I just hope he can stay injury free and get a really long stretch of games. He's hot lots of time ahead, and the fact that he did what he did last season - especially post lockdown - shows that there's a world class player in there, and he can do even more as he continues to improve and develop.

I need to see him bury some people in the mud in the future.

And I wish Hazard all the best. Sad how his Madrid career has turned out, and it's difficult to imagine there's actually Chelsea fans who don't feel even an iota of pity for him.

I no talk Silva matter again. Who wan dey ment, make e dey ment.

Good luck to our players who are with their national teams. Make dem sha no injure.

Lolz. Funny question.

Silva has remained one of our most consistent performers even after the Leeds game. Sure his form probably dropped off during that terrible December/January period, but so did everyone else's. He was actually one of the few who seemed to put in effort during that time. Up until his injury, he was one of our best players even in the number of games he's played under TT.

If truly he has disappeared since that Leeds game, they why have Chelsea fans largely been clamouring for him to be given a new contract, and why did the club not hesitate to tow that path? It can't solely be for mentorship reasons.

Well except you are talking strictly about his fitness, then it is expected that he would face fitness challenges at his age. But to ask, "since that Leeds game, where is he" is sha simply wrong, whether fitness or performance wise.

I've decided I don't care what happens in S4 cos this season was just too bad.

What they're trying to do is turn Odin into the bad guy. There clearly are no new Gods - Technoboy was revealed to be an old God, and I haven't seen Media(old or new) this season, so it means there were only really 2 (now 1) new Gods.

Mr World kinda hinted that he was Loki at the end of the episode, so it seems like the entire show has been one long con by Odin and his son...on his son

And mehn...that makes me mad. Cos I wanted Ian Mcshane to win. Also the cliffhanger ending for this season can fvck right off...and take Bilquis and Laura with it.

Yeah seasons 2 and 3 of American Gods have been monumental letdowns after the initial promise of the first season. I'm not a massive series buff like that to be perfectly honest. I followed some of the bigger shows like Breaking Bad, Power, and GOT during their runs, but that's about it. I mostly tend to watch British cop shows - The Bodyguard, Marcella, Informer, Line of Duty, that kind of thing, then maybe watch the odd fantasy show like the aforementioned AG, and Carnival Row.

What kind of shows are you into?
