Just when you think you've seen it all, you spot a man carrying away a broken traffic light in a trolley. This happened to one man in South Africa who took it upon himself to share the bizarre snap of the "robot snatching man" with his Twitter followers. South Africans refer to traffic lights as 'robots'.

In the photo that was uploaded by the man with the Twitter handle, @TherealMJNcube an unknown man can be seen preparing to move a robot using a trolley to which he tied the traffic light with some rope.

"I just drove past a guy who just stole a traffic light. This is the new SA," he captioned the snap.

Locals were divided in their responses with some coming to the man's defense.

Yep. All countries protect their borders, even in West Africa.

Anyway, to answer the OP question: the traffic light pole is stolen whether he unhinged it or not. Just the gall of moving around with that thing in broad daylight on a main road, risking police attention, shows just how brazen lawbreakers are now.

vandalism, theft and destruction of public property, if caught he will do time, or pay huge fine.
