I think this is not really good for the industry
It portrays then as puppers beggers
I really don't see how they are different from the police begin for money at checkpoints, excerpt that the police obtain from you once they find you wanting one way or another

Who else has observed this? Just wondering if It's an experience peculiar to me

It's simply a measure of how badly, a country is doing economically..........


When last did you check the poverty index of Nigeria......


Nigeria is one of poorest countries in the world, with very rich politicians, politically exposed people, judges etc etc

Well to do people in Nigeria do not beg strangers and everyone they see for money.

The people begging are not well to do. They are not making a lot of money.

People with very good jobs or business (e.g. making over N250,000 per month) do not beg strangers for money.
