It's very sad, meanwhile military leaders are buying mansions with funds meant for their juniors
.the juniors are not complaining. If you decide to hold a protest @ army HQ for them its the same juniors that will shoot you.

You nailed it completely... their morale only rises when there are shamelessly deployed to face armless civilians.

...

....or when it is to face children picking mangoes

Just imagine what Buhari and co have done to Nigeria.
Why are you killing those who want to peasefully exit from this country.
It is now very uncomfortable to someone that you are from Nigeria.
Allow those who want to go to go.

When it comes to dealing severely with so called 'bloody civilians' their weapons would suddenly become 'the real thing'
From available videos all we see with bokoharam and iswap fighters are gpmgs, rpgs, ak47s, hilux like trucks etc. They are said to have a limited number of isreali made guns seized from some nigerian soldiers.
So What is that weapon that nigerian army personel see with them that we dont see in their videos.

The problem with Nigerian armed forces is intelligence gathering, without knowing what your enemy will do before he does you are blind and will always blunder into ambushes and attacks, the new frontier in field intelligence is the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) or drones, how can we have an army that will blunder into an ambush and be slaughtered to the last man or have their base attacked by hundreds of enemy fighters with technical gun trucks, there are drones that can stay at 30-40,000 feet high and monitor with infra red, thermal cameras and other electronic gizmos, hundreds and thousands of kilometers and monitor large movement of troops and logistics, any patrol or sortie by the army must be following in the wake of a drone scan that will pinpoint enemy troops hidden for an ambush, sending soldiers blindly into an ambush friendly region like the Sahel Savannah without proper electronic sweep is callous and wicked, the Nigeria army must think out of the box, they have ak 47,Boko Haram has ak47,so the fight is equal, they must use the billions allocated to them to create a drone facility that must give them the eyes and ears to take the fight to the enemy and tip the balance of war to their favour.

What about the million dollar Chinese jet deal and all the Super Tucanos they were displaying up and down? Was it for show? What about the tanks and new vehicles they were snapping?

Well as long as the government can still kill civilians who protest for their rights it is fine by them.

I see Nigeria breaking...
Within the next 15years, infact I see the northern part pushing for the break to come to reality. I see light, I see HOPE.

When it is time to shoot unarmed IPOB, Shia and Lekki protesters, their weapons won't be obsolete again.
But when they jam malnourished boko boys on bathroom slippers their weapon go turn obsolete.

I find it hard to believe that the same military that has all the arms and ammunitions to kill innocent civilians in Biafra land but has no weapons to fight the terrorist Boko Haram in the north. Seriously, do they expect any reasonable person to believe such a cockamamie story? Buch of evil liars!
