Yeah stylistically Jones will pose more problems. I was talking more of Lewis being a legit power puncher as well that might be the greatest test of Ngannou's chin yet.

If the next opponent is Jones then Ngannou had better get back to the gym to work even more on his grappling, takedown defense and kicking. His punching will take care of itself.
Very true

Even the only ko ngannou ever received in his mma carrier is from lewis.

Lewis has always been great puncher, but I think his chin is always suspect. His chin always failed him whenever he meets someone who out punches him.

The rematch will surely be interesting.

My brother I haven’t seen Enyimba’s game this season due to Corvid. Na few people dey sneak enter Stadium these days, I can’t try such.

The thing be say I never even get time to watch their game this season after the overhaul of last season that affected some of my men.

Oh ok.

I was a fan of Enyimba in OUK's time, as they had the best players in the league. Loved watching Muri Ogunbiyi, Tyavkase, Okemiri, Omolade and my fav, Stephen Worgu.

I was chilling with Uga Okpara the other day, we always find time to reminisce about those glory days.

That was a crazy talent studded squad.

Ngannou has never been KO'd or submitted. His loss to Lewis was a decision and they barely touched each other all fight. Ngannou only did less, it was a case of two countries holding nuclear weapons and neither one wanted to be the first to pull the trigger

Yeah that defender. I remember when you guys signed Berger's Nwaneri, the defence became rock solid.

What of that big striker Emeka Nwanna and Frimpong that was netting like mad. Chai.

You're right. The toughest test to Ngannou's chin is Lewis.

I saw Jones struggle to takedown Dominick Reyes so with guys like Kamaru in his corner I'm doubtful he succeeds with the grappling. I think the kicks are where he might have advantage but in a way I think his bulk might help him in the grappling aspect. The issue with grappling is if you shoot and miss Ngannou will send you to Wakanda. You saw what he did to Cain. Blaydes also tried it with Derrick Lewis and that one gave him sleeping melecine

What I really want to see with Jones the narcissist full of hubris (well earned btw) is if his narcissism will talk him into actually standing and trading punches with Ngannou. He sometimes likes to try and beat you at your game so I want to see if he will dare to trade with Ngannou who will gladly eat two punches so he can knack you 4

Remember that Lewis beat Francis in that boring match in which both of them strangely refused to attack.

Some said that Francis was still trying to recover mentally from his earlier Stipe loss which is why he was tentative. Others said both Francis and Lewis were just too scared of each other’s power.

Whichever way you see it Francis lost to Lewis and with Lewis being highest ranked contender it is only logical that Francis avenge that loss before facing Jones for an all time great fight.
Jones is the money fight. If I'm Ngannou I'd definitely want Jones next. Lewis can wait

Lampard did one thing right, he brought this lad to mainstream.

And OLE picked Ice cold Martial ahead of Lukaku as our CF.

Useless coach
Who wouldn't pick Anthony Ayinde "better than Henry at 19" Martial over someone that cannot even beat an old-woman in a 1v1??

raumdeuter:

Martial has more in his arsenal than Lukaku Kane and Perez together

He is good with his feet and can take one on one. Lukaku can only beat opponents by pushing or hauling them to the ground. His footwork is worse than a cripple.

Lukakus option in those scenarios would be to push them away

Kane? I am not sure he is even better than Vardy.

Even Henry wasnt this good at 19

Like how those bastard scummies cheated us when Evans almost broke Torres' legs and Clattenburg sent him (Torres) off for his troubles. As if that wasn't enough, they scored with a hand ball and a glaring offside all in one match.

VAR just slows the game down; but it is error free compared to what Ferguson and his army of referees turned EPL to.
I remember that game even Mikel controversy.

Kurt Zouma:

17 EPL appearances -> 4 goals

Anthony Martial:

22 appearances -> 4 goals

One is a CB while the other is the first choice striker at one of England's biggest club
