What is there to understand?
I don't think you've been following this Bank-Telcom faceoff.
Telcoms have been demanding that banks payoff billions of Naira in debts incurred over USSD usage; a debt that banks have been dodging.
So now they've decided to terminate the service themselves probably to stop further debts accruing.
You that understood the article, why not give us a detailed analysis instead of insulting every living thing on the thread. Tufia, human beings.
If you have been following you would have known by now that the Bank-Telcom face off as regard use of USSD codd has been resolved since March 16th precisely. Go back and read the article don't be lazy

Have you ever witnessed thieves sharing their loot in films? That is what is playing out here.

Two thieves who know what the other person knows can't seem to find a common ground.

You know what the problem is? SHARING FORMULA.

The people that are to pay this money are not even complaining, but the 'sharers' are the ones fighting.

You are right.

Nigeria authorities (CBN, telecoms, NCC, oil companies, security forces, customs, Nigeria ministry of revenues and so on); have the strategies to taxing taxpayers.

Executive animals looting/taxpayers taxpayers.

Nigeria institutions are full of corrupt
Britain and viruses

The problem of Nigeria is dumb citizens like you. You come online to display your dumbness without shame. If you are a Nigerian citizen and you know the last person that won Big brother Nija and you don't know what electronic levy is then you are mad and part of the problem of this country
You don't have to insult him to drive a point. If an average Nigerian knew about Big Brother Naija, it only logical that multi choice did an aggressive campaign using different platforms. Our banks and other governmental agencies that didn't educate the masses on stamp duties hence don't expect otherwise. It may shock you to know that many Nigerians aren't even aware of such charges

Nigerian banks are thieves... Alot of these banks are owned by our politicians....

MTN mean well to reduce the cost of charges...But the thieves aren't okay with it.. because they want more money....
