My Dell Laptop Can't Spot Or Detect My Mobile Device by thanksjosh005(op): 10:04pm On Apr 02, 2021

I've been trying to connect my phone's hotspot together with my Dell laptop but my laptop doesn't seem to detect my device at all, yet it's been able to spot and connect to hotspot from other devices.

Please, kindly help out if you can.

Is your phone an Itel device?

Consider updating the driver of your network card.
Press your Windows button, search for "Device Manager"
Go to "networks"
Select your Wi-Fi, right click, click on update, update online...

Check if your phone'e visibility is on. Can other devices see your phone?

my hp laptop is able to spot my phone but doesn't connect to my phone's hotspot but my Dell doesn't even spot my phone let alone connect to it.
