He has been excellent at that prior to today. It was just a bad day at the office for all concerned. I'm just a bit happier that it's happened here and not against Porto because there would have been no way back

I've been meaning to ask. Besides scoring awoof penalties what does Jorginho actually do on a football pitch? He's basically a Brazilian Mikel with no defensive nous. With mids like Jorginho and Kovacic I don't see how Chelsea ever get to compete against truly good teams

The plan did not include coaching the boys how to react to going a man down. They just couldn't deal with it. Tuchel himself acknowledged this. That's his job.
I could think of 5 players that played even worse than James.

Tuchel is the coach not the players.
