That is flaw of constitution. Labour matter is on exclusive list of constitution.
If constitution is amended and labour falls into concurrent list, state workers would not join federal workers on strike.

Even without such amendments, every worker knows their employer. If their employer meets their demands, no need to join another strike that doesnt affect them, that doesnt mean they cant lend their voices but not through industrial action.

Go through labour act, trade dispute act, international labour convention etc. You are just being sentimental.

Skeletal services are being rendered.

Not true, patient are been turned away from the A/E and the wards are vacant. No HO's on ground and consultants won't do anything without HO'S and residents.

Only outpatients that have routine drugs to pick up can get them or if they have consultant clinics to attend as outpatients.

It depends on patients load in each hospital. Some hospitals still attend to some emergencies. You don't take new patients if you don't have human resources to take care of them.

No old patients are even kept, all have been discharged or referred.

Denial. Do you have copies of labour act, trade dispute act and international labour convention?
If you don't have them, try to search for them.

I know labour laws and that is where I got the ESSENTIAL SERVICE PRINCIPLES in strike action. They never totally go off completely on strike. Yours I never heard off, so if you have the facts drop it here and educate me. Nobody is above learning.

That first line of yours is IRRESPONSIBLE and UNCALLED FOR! Have you ever met me before?

This is you right, from another thread fighting for NIGERIANS, but you turn around here to say they should as well die.

1. No, I haven't met you before, though I know what I'm taking about. let me leave it that that..

2. Those seeking their right, are they not Nigerians? Have you met honest and sincere retirees beginning for food because their entitlement has not been paid? Have you seen or heard of retirees that died because of delay in payment of their entitlement and so also because they don't have alternative means of survival? Are they not Nigerians? Let's not be bias.

So in other words you are justifying their irresponsible approach? Asking that all hospitals be abandoned like the tertiary has been abandoned, when people like HO's should still be on ground? You are justifying STATE owned hospitals for also joining NARD in the strike, meanwhile they are not been owed?

At what cost? Is the cost of human life worth it?

Sorry it is not justifiable, it is IRRESPONSIBLE.

Do you have relative that work for years diligently, retired with nothing and their entitlement are not paid. If those in authority value Nigerians and life, they should do the needful. so channel your anger to the right place and not towards the victim. Even the Bible is against owing workers their wages.

Any profession deserves reasonable compensation, so I dont blame NARD for demanding what should be their right, I only condemn their approach.

The approach might not be right but these people go for what will work in their favour, how to get the govt to listen so I don't blame them much.
May God help us.

You havent met me ,so been more patriotic than me is only an assumption.

This is about people in active essential services. All retired personnel can go on strike for whatever they are owed by government, it doesnt affect essential services or what I am referring to in my post.
