Do you know that there are certain miscreants in Igbo land who have taken advantage of the IPOB situation and #Endsars movement to cause chaos, destruction and mayhem? Most of these people are ex-prisoners, ex-armed robbers and kidnappers , who are using this camouflage to sow discord amongst the various communities of Hausa, Yoruba and Igbo. It is the duty of every Igbo man, woman and child to report these miscreants to the authorities so that order and peace can be restored, and we can setup commissions to address the grievances of our youth and communities. Igbos are strong, wise and resilient, we can fix our lands, but we must first clear out these miscreants so that the east will not become like the North with insecurity and terrorism. A word is enough for the wise. |

GodHatesBigots:I completely agree with you OP. There's an attempt by IPOB terrorists to create an impression that it is the authentic voice of my Igbo brothers and sisters using online trolls who are Igbo bigots. |

We want Freedom. If that means war, so be it. See what Biafra achieved in 3 years of freedom. Compare it to Nigeria today after decades of independence. "In the three years of the war, necessity gave birth to invention. During those three years of heroic bound, we leapt across the great chasm that separates knowledge from know-how. We built rockets, and we designed and built our own delivery systems. We guided our rockets. We guided them far, we guided them accurately. For three years, blockaded without hope of import, we maintained all our vehicles. The state extracted and refined petrol, individuals refined petrol in their back gardens. We built and maintained our airports, maintained them under heavy bombardment. Despite the heavy bombardment, we recovered so quickly after each raid that we were able to maintain the record for the busiest airport in the continent of Africa. We spoke to the world through telecommunication system engineered by local ingenuity; the world heard us and spoke back to us! We built armoured car tanks. We modified aircraft from trainer to fighters, from passenger aircraft to bombers. In the three years of freedom we had broken the technological barrier." Emeka Ojukwu - January 1970 |

alfasexy:" If that means war,so be it". smh. After "achieving" those things during the war,he ran away with his family and left Igbos to continue to die in the thick of the war. He didn't even have the balls to surrender. He ran away only for him to return after normalcy has been restored to contest for a political office in the same country that he so abhorred. Now Mr Kanu is leading gullible Igbos to the same path from far away abroad where he and his family are safe. You're on your own, Oga. |

michelz:We make war to live in peace. Go and Google how many wars were fought in Europe before 1945. It will be a joke for some Nigerians to think they can colonize the Igbo ...it won't happen...not when some Igbos still draw breathe |

alfasexy:I'm just sitting here tweedling my fingers and wondering which fairytale version of the Biafran war your folks told you about. You should go and ask how the civil war ended. |

selemempe:Hmmm... nice talking tough. The point is Igbos should be careful. They have so much at stake. There are several ways to seek for something without necessarily resorting to violence. By the way,if you're banking on Mr Kanu to lead you in the war, then bro, that's the beginning of the failure. |

selemempe:The first war, your commander fled when it became too hot to withstand. This second war, you commander has already fled even before the war began. Interesting show of cowardice. |

selemempe:brother, you can tell them again, we can be peaceful but we are not cowards. if it's very difficult for the nigeria leadership to enthrone justice, fairness, equality, in the nation, after more than 60yrs of independence, then nigeria as a nation has no hope of ever been great. who is proud of being a citizen of a stagnant and corrupt nigeria ? if the nigeria leadership can not trace back to the route of justice, fairness and equality, then let the war begin. because am sure nigeria as a contraption, will never survive another civil war. |
