… vow to occupy Government House

Aggrieved villagers from the eight wards in Shiroro Local Government Area of Niger State have raised the alarm that armed bandits have taken over their local government, sacking over 100 communities in the process.

While adressing journalists on predicament of the people at the Correspondents Chapel office, Minna on Monday, President of Lakpma Youth Assembly said: “The bandits have now made Allawa Games Reserve as their hideout because the government has ceded our lands to them.”

He said the Lakpma axis has suffered persistent banditry, which has culminated in the loss of over 120 lives, rape of women, cattle rustling, destruction and capturing of over 100 communities.

According to Jibrin Allawa: “Without prejudice to the above, the government appears incapacitated or unwilling to do the needful, as recent events suggest the Government has ceded Allawa, Bassa and indeed the entire Lakpma axis to bandits and terrorists.

“We shall mobilize our displaced and hopeless kinsmen to occupy and take shelter in government facilities within Minna if our plight is not addressed in earnest. Until our plight is addressed, we would boycott all civic responsibilities to the state.”

This is not new they have territories in Sokoto, Katsina, Zamfara, Kaduna and now Niger, they simply just expanding their territory....

In fact they've held on to about 3 LGAs in sokoto with the foolish governor paying them, the same goes for Katsina too, they simply want to be paid like they've been paying them in sokoto and Katsina....

While our useless intelligence agencies are busy sleeping and running after shadows while these terrorists continue to expand and become more daring.....

This is serious.
It is very serious the number of LGA under their control across the country is equivalent to a state in Nigeria...in Sokoto they have 3 under their belt in Katsina they have 2 under their belt in zamfara they have 3 under their belt in Kaduna they have 1 and are about taking control of the second in Niger they have 1 under their belt...

In total across Nigeria they have at least 10 LGAs under their control that's more than what bayelsa have as a state....

Boko Haram and Fulani herdsmen aka bandits are terrorizing the whole country visiting defenceless communities with death and destruction but Buhari and the Nigerian army think that IPOB is their problem.

If you get money, leave this country if you want your sanity and peace of mind, country is in turmoil yet the head of the country is far in another man's land wasting money he should have spent on security and on the health sector
Re: Insecurity: 100 Communities Captured By Bandits In Shiroro – Villagers Cry Out by Electrochemistry(m):
Obviously, the security challenge of this country has overwhelmed our security personnels. This problem can be traced to a number of fundamental factors:

A. Incompetent Leadership: apart from the fact that our leaders are not sophisticated enough to handle the intricasies and dynamisms of the Nigerian setting, there is a clear motive to sideline some sections of the country thereby making them to be indignant and to lose hope of enjoying the dividend of democrasy.

B. Unemployment and Underemployment: It is no news that joblessness is at an alarming rate in Nigeria today and there is no hope in sight of ameliorating the situation. Those who are properly employed are few while majority others are getting peanut or doing jobs that are below their dignity.

C. Conflict of Interest: Foreign Fulanis came in large number through our porous borders when Buhari became the president. This led to land conflict with unemployed graduates who are also willing to employ most of these lands for farming.
