very commendable. industrialization is the way to go. This will reduce the rush for civil service jobs which puts a lot of strain on the government purse.

Kudos to udom. Akwa-ibom is always lucky with the their leaders
great piece

When will full operations commence on these projects That's what udom the hype master fail to mention.! Ten years will come and go they will still say work is ongoing. If he want us to take him seriously, he should pull his head off his ass and mention the year/month the works on the said project will finish and operations started otherwise he should go and sit down.!

This is not the right way to address your leader or any elderly person. You can do better than this.

Leaving one's state to another Nigerian state where a different language is spoken attracts lots of insults. Everyone should stay in their state and make it great or leave the shithole

It seems you are just waking up .. Do you know that Ibom deep seaport just came to light just 2 months ago after FEC approvals?
Ibaka deep seaport the one you ignorantly reference is no longer in existence ..You can ask akpabio what happen to her ?

I must admit that I'm not totally up to speed with that sector. However it begs the question. Why didn't Udom carry on from where Akpabio stopped? Could the reason be something petty like, Ibaka was in Akpabio's side of the state and Ibom is in Udom's side? What happens when the next governor comes in and he's not from Udom's side of the state? Does this mean that the only way to ensure project continuity in Nigeria is to intsall your protege as successor governor? Does this now explain, and validates, the reason behind Lagos State style of godfatherism and its relationship to the success of project continuity? Does this then validate Tinubu?

Stop making noise. The current site Ibom is way better naturally for a deep sea port setting than ibaka besides that ibaka has underwater oil and gas pipes and we do not want environmental disaster's as seen in other Niger Delta states. Use your head

There is nothing happening in Akwa Ibom State. More foreign investors should come to Rivers State where a good business environment has been established.

personally one thing I realise about udom is that he like taking people by surprise and also like keeping top info from the press.

So because the governor is giving no update you decided to be recycling old gist again and again.

Thanks for admitting some corrective point.
secondly Ibaka is not in Akpabio side of the state but udom side of the state ..
The new side was recommended by the private company that also own the port development on PPP scale ( power China and bolere).

different management system, different locations, different name , different developer and different developmental designs ..
So they are two different project with one goal.
