Hi. Good afternoon.
Please, do you mind if I pick your brain on something?

I'm getting a new laptop soon, and I need professional opinion.

Thanks.

1. Which one is better? UK used or brand new?

2.
I don't care about amazing features or extraordinary specs.
The only things I care about are RAM, battery life and durability.

The laptop should not lag while I'm using it.
The battery should last at least five hours after one single full charge.
There should be no hardware or software issues I would have to constantly repair.

Which exact laptop fits the conditions I listed above?

New is allways better if you can afford it, and if used, buy from a trusted person,

I have no idea what you intend to use the laptop for ?

If you are coding it depends if you are doing Node related tools I will advise 8gb or 16gb because today's dev have abused ram usage so the higher you must be in

I would say i7 but if you are on budget i5 is good

For battery life I would recommend the Lenovo thinkpad they are business laptops and very good and affordable.
