That is not true. Just yesterday, the spokesperson of MASSOB and IPOB came out to make a statement in regards to the insecurity facing the South-east. They declared they were not involved in the jailbreak or civil unrest happening in the region. They even went as far as blaming the government for sponsoring unknown gunmen operating in the region

He is not a full-fledged DIG yet. Ohanaeze people are obviously aware of this fact. So Buhari has no excuse in denying the SE a chair in the security council. This is pure tribalism and nepotism, for which his government is now seen as a huge failure.

The way things are going, I doubt whether he can now change this perception by 2023
