Men of the Anambra state police command have arrested two suspects, Victor Ikechukwu, 30, and Ifeanyi Uyanne, 35, in connection with the death of two young men killed during a shooting incident that occurred at Tempsite Okpuno, Awka, Anambra State on Wednesday, April 7.

A statement released by the spokesperson of the state police command, Tochi Ikenga, states that the shooting incident which is suspected to be a cult clash left the deceased young men with serious gunshot injuries. He said the men were rushed to a nearby hospital but were confirmed dead by a doctor on ground.

Ikenga added that items recovered from them include one tinted Toyota Corolla Vehicle and one suspected military Cap uniform.

Those killings yesterday were mere cult clash which has been going on in awka for sometime now...the two guys were shot point blank to the forehead and their brains splattered....it happened close to where I went to eat food around that area.
