I'm also following the progress quietly.

Can I get some of your 40 days bean seeds?

I also planted some beans for a trial, in my tiny compound.

I stand to be corrected but I don't think there is any legume crop that will complete its life cycle in 40 days,in fact I am scratching my head for a crop that will mature in 40 days, even cucumbers which is one of the fastest growing crops matures in 46 days,a typical legume will take at least 10 days to fully germinate, cucumbers 4-5 days, watermelon 5-6 days,so will the legume use 30 days to grow, flower, set pods, ripe and mature, sounds fantastic to me.

what I mean is that it's due for harvest after 40 days from planting that you are not aware of it doesn't mean it doesn't exists

we are commercial farmers and we also have other farmer friends scattered all over Nigeria that plant diverse crops,we have planted green beans before and have seen how it went,no legume will mature in 40 days,it's is physically impossible and against the laws of nature for such to happen, this is the maturity period of some common beans variety

Impossible is nothing.

If our forefathers were told about the features of many hybrid seeds, they'll swear on their lives that it's not possible to achieve such outrageously high yields in such ridiculously short periods of time.

While you and I are settling into our current realities, some are working tirelessly to redesign and dictate what reality will be.

Someone once said "if you think it can't be done, then get out of the way of those who are doing it"

With all due respect, Let's always have open minds.

we developed the red scorpion pepper after 5 year of selective breeding from natural selection and we know a little bit about hybrids, genetics, heredity and traits, hybrids are developed with mostly yield and disease resistance as the major driving factor, the time to maturity does not differ much from Opv varieties, for instance marketmore cucumbers matures in 55 days and cu 999 matures in 46 days, just 9 days difference but comparing the yield and disease resistance of the two is like comparing a Ferrari with a danfo,,but you cannot tell me that hybrid hot peppers mature in 40-50 days and expect me to believe that,at 40 days a beans farm will still be flowering at 50-60% and harvest starts from 70-100 days.

prof okoroemeka study this link;

sometimes you don't need to be a professor to separate facts from fiction and see the red flags,a research breakthrough of such by an unnamed Nigerian University will have research papers, academic journals, newspaper reports, farmers updates and videos littered all over the internet, assuming the crop is planted and germinated in 5 days,it will take just 15 days to grow up and flower, then it will take another 20 days for the pods to mature and be harvested,we need solid facts by farmers that has planted such not just a link on naira land

I like you @okoroemeka especially for your selfless thread on cucumber

Science had gone far and you need not argue on most of this things

This variety is very popular in Maiduguri and the far north whose ecology hardly experience sufficient rainfall for cultivation

It is called Kwankwaso cowpea

You might wish to read further on this

Thanks

How To Spend Less Money On Fertilizers And Enjoy Bountiful Harvest

Your soil is the most important resource when growing healthy crops for a profitable agribusiness.

the use of fertilizer alone without a soil conditioner to make the nutrient available for crops to use results in poor fertilizer nutrients uptake which reduces crop yield.

using AG-Zyme to improve your soil structure makes soil nutrient available for your crops, better rooting for water and nutrient uptake for your crops.

AG-Zyme also helps to boost your fertilizer to give you that desire yield you have always wanted for a higher profit.

With AG Zyme soil conditioner, no need to worry about poor soil or bad fertilizers. Just use AG Zyme to condition the soil and boost the fertilizer for a bountiful harvest.
