Hello my fellow nairalanders and cars enthusiast especially those in taxi/ private cab business I need your help on making a wise a choice for my friend.

He is planning to venture into the cab market but his budget is 700k at most as that's his Boss is ready to put in for any of these 3 cars that is finally chosen by him for the business.

To cut the long story short he is confused and need the best in terms of fuel economy, cheap maintenance and peace of mind while working.

Any other best option/ product of car for his budget is welcomed.



After all your advices regarding taking the bank corolla and due to his budget we only could find the tiny light Camry and the small Corolla in the picture, leaving him with not option to choose any of the two please which should go for out of the two both durability, fuel economy e.t.c I really appreciate your comments so far and await more thank you nairalanders.

The Corolla actually should have been the best for him but a good nigerian used would be above that 700k.

Although the 2002 model corolla "MAY" be gotten in the neighbourhood of that price if you look well.

Remember to carry out due diligence so you people dont get a lemon that will drain all his earnings.

when Nigeria was a bit responsible its possible BUT since Nigeria turned into Afghanistan,prices of everything has sky rocketed including salt,MIGHT still be lucky to get the bank type corolla Manual shift at that price.lol

N700k will not get you a clean used Bank type (Euro, Asia spec) Corolla! If u see abeg show me, i will give you 50k ontop for your hardwork.

Both the prestigious look, durability, low fuel consumption and can't grade you so low as a taxi.

More recent? Bank type starts from 2003 to 2007. Mine was 2007 model.
