It costs
about 10,000 lots to move the market by one pip. MM’s have the ability to
move price at will retail traders do not. So for a retail trader to be truly
successful, they need to at least have a concept of this process so that they
understand what is happening and why. Even better, to be able to identify
the patterns and strategies that MM’s use to play the game and to the ‘piggy
back’ with them rather than attempt to trade against them.
For example, if one institution places an order to buy $1,000,000,000
(10,000 contracts) of Euro for instance, then it would require 10,000 traders
selling one contract each, 100,000 traders sell 0.1 contracts each or
1,000,000 traders selling .01 contracts each to balance these transactions.
Put another way, the same number of traders would be required to initiate a
transaction at more or less the same time in the same direction to move the

We now have a close above the daily declining TL and a higher high to confirm the double bottom. I believe gold will still attack the resistance zone but first i expect a decline to the support zone to print a higher low/DCL to complete this RT daily cycle and confirm 8 mar. as ICL. This would be a start of a new intermediate cycle and should give a buy signal, failure to give a buy signal would mean this new IC would top at DC 2 or 3 then continue to fall. The squeeze of BB now shows a strong move is ahead of us. 3 Likes

Gold Trade Plan From experience, it's always good to have a plan before market opens to avoid impulsive trades and limit losses. Anyway, let's get down to it. Will gold go up or down? Truth is I don't know. It's only when market opens I get to know based on direction. I can only speculate about it. That notwithstanding, I will be looking at a BREAK of 1730 to sell and hopefully grab 200 pips. In that case, we will have XAUUSD sellstop @ 1730 Stoploss @ 1735 Target 1710 BUT if it BREAKS 1746, we long for 100 pips and wait for another BREAK of 1760 to pick another 100pips. First Break XAUUSD buystop @ 1746 Stoploss @ 1739 Target 1756 Second Break XAUUSD buystop @ 1760 Stoploss @ 1755 Target 1770 Happy Trading.  4 Likes |
