rvp2018:Noise as usual Emperical data Global education ranking based on the PISA, TIMSS and PERCE test https://buzzghana.com/latest-global-school-rankings-ghana-crashes-to-the-bottom/ Your country kenya could not compete with the big boys Your university students with only pass KG student in Ghana. An average Kenya is ignorant and dull. Your poor educational system in Kenya is responsible for the levels of abject poverty in Kenya. Your country is soo poor that Kenyans can only afford slums to live in. Meanwhile, The Chinese and Israelis are looting your country dry while the Stoo*ges Kenyatta's are holding wealth for his slave masters. The only zoo in Africa is most definitely Kenya where poverty and illiteracy reigns supreme In Education, the world knows Kenya not. That's is why more Kenyans are trooping into Ghanaian universities |

Where is the evidence that participating in PISA, TIMSS and PERCE is stamp of authority on your education system. South Africa and Botswana participate in all that - and beat you. Kenya beat South Africa and Botwana in SACMEQ. You are bottom - and proud of it - coz they invited you to participate ![]() Kenya has built 100B dollar economy, Nairobi is your vision 2050 and name it - without any mineral, with little arable land and you think it miracle. Nope. It's our focus on education system. I have visited many Africa countries - and I am yet to find kids who are walking to school in dawn - dark - like 5 am as is normal in Kenya.Kenya kids study as hard as chinese and Indians. Just30: |

Let's fact check Ghana electricity access propaganda The Propaganda At the start of the scheme, only 15- 20 percent of Ghana's population had access to electricity (Ministry of Power, 2016). Recent electricity access reviews have put access rates at 66.7 percent in 2009, 80.51 percent in 2015 and 82.5 percent in 2016 (Ministry of Power, 2016). The Reality 1) 2015 - The distribution of electricity is carried out by the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG), with about 2.6 million customers accounting for about 90% of retail power sales, and the Northern Electricity Corporation (NEDCo, a subsidiary of VRA) which handles the remaining 10%. 2015 - we can say they had about 3m customers or Households - roughly in country that had 6M Household connected to metered electricity - so access was 50% https://ewsdata.rightsindevelopment.org/files/documents/78/WB-P147878_Cx6pxlH.pdf |

rvp2018:The best way to rank educational systems is to administer the same test across all countries. Kenya failed miserably in those three test and so it wasn't ranked. South Africa and Botswana are far better than Kenya in education and that is why they were ranked in the global comparison; likewise was Ghana. First appear in the global comparison. secmeq is only for local underperforming countries like Kenya. ![]() We came bottom in a global comparison among champions. I wouldn't expect noise from the country failed miserably in the qualification ranks. ![]() Yet The Ghanaian economy is still larger than the Kenyan economy, the Ghanaian retail market is 5 times larger than Kenya. Ghanaian export is 4 times larger than Kenya. The Ghanaian manufacturing sector is large enough such that Ghana import is 2 times lower than Kenya's. Excuses upon excuse for a miserable country Kenya arable land is more than that of Ghana. Kenya kids study hard and yet cant pass PISA, TIMSS and PERCE tests. That shows they are being taught nonsense. Ghanaian kids dont need to wake up 4am to walk to school because, why would anyone put students through that stress especially when they have to sleep enough to wake up with sound minds? Ghanaian kids live on campus and go for prep in the evenings and close by 9pm. Ghanaian primary school kids have school all around them that they attend. They dont need to wake up at 4am in order to get to school on time. |

rvp2018:You are really have a hard time ![]() Too bad Kenya 2020 access to electricity is at 50% and access to water in Nairobi is at 40% I wonder how you guys live in that hellhole. Fast forward to 2020 and access to electricity in Ghana is at 90% to 92% Here in Ghana, having electricity and water is the barest minimum and even villagers have it. Its time we start comparing Nairobi to our villages. |

I was expecting you to show us the 4.5m customers of ECG - otherwise the verbal diarhoea is not helpful. As of 2015 - ECG had 2.6M customers - Ghana claimed to be 80% plus on electricity access. Electricity access is not only urban centers only - it everywhere - villagers and not Kenya now is about 8M out 12m household - 68% access (census data showed it) - but Gov Propaganda was claiming Kenya was at 85%. I encourage you to use the under-developed brain to fact-check your own gov propaganda. Don't start on water before we finish electricity. South Africa where you stay - has approximately 17.16 million household - and have about 16.5M electricity customers connected to Eskom and the likes. When they claim they are in 95% access - that is CREDIBLE. I have already showed the 4.5 million customers of ECG here with prove data prove, when we had this discussion last year. You are still here making noise. Every single part of Ghana have electricity and it include villages, except for overseas village. Ive been to most parts of Ghana to fact check them all with an Energy Policy Think Tank. Kenya electricity access is below 50% in 2020 accord to IEA Kenya. The best think tank in your country ![]() rvp2018: |

And the data then disappeared or what. The one I have seen was 3M metered customers- about 3.5M if you include the illegal ones- and that 90% of your electricity access - so we can conclude have connected 4m out 7m household - about 60% of Ghana. Just30: |

| Re: Kenya Is Ahead of Nigeria In All Aspect (Facts Don't Lie) by rvp2018: 12:34pm On Apr 11, 2021 |
Now you shifted the target to 4.7M - after realizing your gov propaganda is just meant to hoodwink Ghanians?Where is evidence that Ghana has 5M houses. Ghana has 7M households. House plus occupant that need to be connected to electricity. The same way MTN has millions of customer on network - is the same way we expect your utility companies to have millions (but per household - not per person) If your utility companies have very little customer base; then you have not connected every Ghanian to electricity. Why Not SACMEQ and PISA AND TIMSS AND NAME It - all TEST THE SAME THING - basic maths and english/language proficiency for primary school kids - the results will be the same - there is nothing complicated about those tests. You can use South Africa and Botwana - Botswana beat South Africa in all - including SACMEQ. Kenya of course is the top dog by far. South Africa beat Ghana in all the test and yet in SACMEG - they scored 60% while kenya kids scored almost 90%We can therefore conclude Ghana kids would score about 50% - while kenya kids of similar age will score 90%. rvp2018:fortunately it is not propaganda but facts that have been verified from the ground By think thanks and international organization., Only fools from Kenya will want to compare their miserable performance in all fields to say after all they are not doing so bad. ![]() Electricity meters are not place on households but houses MTN connect humans with phones to mobile services Electricity distributors connects houses with human being in it to electricity. |
| Re: Kenya Is Ahead of Nigeria In All Aspect (Facts Don't Lie) by rvp2018: 12:41pm On Apr 11, 2021 |
Again for umpteenth time, household, is house with people. Nobody cares about houses or structure. Electricity access - household with electricity. Therefore meters plus illegal connected household should match with gov stats. or Propaganda. This example of South Africa report According to its General Household Survey (GHS), in 2012, 1.45-million, or 11%, of South African households did not have access to electricity, while another 3.6%, or 578 005, households accessed electricity informally or illegally. Again there is no evidence that PISA has administered those tests on Kenya kids. Repeating a lie will not make it a fact. They choose Ghana to basically embarrass Africans....I mean even kids from middle east..beat your kids senseless. SACMEQ and PISA are the same test. The results will be the same. If you come bottom; you'll be bottom in all of them; like Ghana. As for Ghanian working in NASA and such Nigeria type of NONSENSE - how is that helping GHANA ![]() Just30: |

rvp2018:Again In census, a household is a family tree. Houses are structures and those are the ones that are connected to electricity grid.. Of course Kenya does not care about houses and structures, it explains why 3 million of Nairobi people live in degrading slums of zinc and an additional 1 million live in slum scrappers. Electricity access is house connected to the national grid, especially completed houses. Electricity meters are not slapped on human bodies, it is placed on houses. According to the Ghana living standards report 4.5 million houses are connected to the grid through ECG, Nedco and VRA. And that is 90% of coverage |

rvp2018:I've never met fools this foolish like I've met kenyans on this forum. You guys keep showing the level of illiteracy in that mess of a country. Household in census is a family and that is why they ask for the head name which is usually the father and ask for the number of children. A house with and without occupants must be connected to the grid with a meter. Have you see human beings walking around with electricity meters on their body? Everybody care about houses and that is why we build house and live in. The fact that the Pope run schools in Kenya does not mean they operate schools here. |
