Members of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, have warned youths in the Southeast against joining the newly established security outfit for the region, known as Ebubeagu to spy its own Eastern Security Network, ESN.

IPOB gave the warning on Tuesday via a statement issued by its spokesman, Emma Powerful.

IPOB, in the statement, condemned the formation of another security network by the Southeastern Governors, stating that the establishment of Ebubeagu was against the already existing ESN.

The statement reads in part: “Biafrans will not be deceived by this purported EBUBEAGU security outfit which is a huge joke. South-East governors set up the outfit probably to fulfil all righteousness or to spy on ESN to curry favour from their Fulani slave masters.

“We, therefore, warn our youths to have nothing to do with the so-called Ebubeagu security outfit which was ostensibly formed to sabotage IPOB and ESN. Anyone who neglects this warning and thinks he can hide under the cloak of EBUBEAGU to spy on ESN should be prepared to join his ancestors.

“The protection of all Biafrans is our priority, and we are prepared to sacrifice anything to achieve this. We are aware of Fulani terrorists’ plans to decimate indigenous tribes in Nigeria. We are also aware of the federal government’s tacit support for this evil agenda. But IPOB and ESN promise them that no inch of our land will be given to Fulani terrorists herdsmen in the East,” the statement added.

This dictatorial statement from Emma Powerful of IPOB has shown clearly how dangerous it is for Igbo race to rely on ONE PERSON to use his personal militia to run rings around the South East States.

As experiences elsewhere have shown, with time, ESN is likely to grow and become a despotic tool of terror to intimidate, extort, maim or even assassinate perceived "sabo" or ' enemies' of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu in particular and that of IPOB in general. At a point, even the local ESN commanders would use the organization to settle personal scores.

People will disappear and many will go on exile. A couple of armed resistance groups will spring up. Thus, Igbo race will sink low. God forbid!

Daily trust is mouthpiece of Fulani herdsmen. disregard this fake news coming from Fulani mouthpiece just to cause a fight between Governor of South East and IPOB no time Emma powerful issue such statement. ESN priority is to protect Biafra Region from Fulani herdsmen while Ebubeagu are on there own, as long they don't interfere on the activity of ESN.

That is exactly the Fulani plot behind suddenly asking the Southeast governors that they must set up a regional security force that they initially totally rejected.

The high toll on their soldiers and police while trying to battle ESN is totally unsustainable for them to continue.

But it is too late to force another security outfit in the southeast when there is already an effective one. Bottomline line is that unless they use Fulani herdsmen to staff Ebube agu outfit, any average Igbo youth is pro Biafra. Whether they are MASSOB, IPOB or BIM.

I was surprised after Gov Umahi stated that South East don't need any regional security outfit still went back to form one

Probably, a man that can't stand by his word is not a man

But I still think that ESN should find a way to work with Ebube Agu

This shouldn't be the time East should allow themselves to be divided
