That is exactly the Fulani plot behind suddenly asking the Southeast governors that they must set up a regional security force that they initially totally rejected.

The high toll on their soldiers and police while trying to battle ESN is totally unsustainable for them to continue.

But it is too late to force another security outfit in the southeast when there is already an effective one. Bottomline line is that unless they use Fulani herdsmen to staff Ebube agu outfit, any average Igbo youth is pro Biafra. Whether they are MASSOB, IPOB or BIM.
We need accountability. The problem with the NPF is that it is not accountable for all of it's atrocities.

ESN will even be worse, as it has no one it is answerable to. It is akin to a group of hoodlums assembling together and branding themselves as security agents only for them to extort, maim, and oppress anyone opposed to them while not being answerable to any person.

IPOB's politics of attacking the political class in the South East will not get them far. They need to work with the political class (at least seek for and court those willing) in order to advance the Biafra agenda.

At the end of the day ESN is just an illegal "security" outfit without the backing of the SE Governors and a couple of laws that establish and control them.

Tell me, how many vigilantees were you able to form in your area to defend ndiigbo from the marauders that terrorized them for long in many parts of Enugu, Anambra, Ebonyi, etc before Ipob decided to set up ESN?

although, it's not a must I comment but, I choose to.
really, esn is doing the real work and supposed to be recognized, organized by the Southeast states for state service. this ebubeagu stuff will go the way of amotekun outfit in Southwest, while OPC is still the real deal there.
ebubeagu as amotekun will be plagued with laws that will turn them to toothless dog, corruption, party politics, egoism etc.
so, esn remains the real deal in southeast.
