There is nothing special about Twitter's business that cannot be replicated.

African countries should not allow spurious intellectual property rights that are not reciprocated

We can very easily have our African versions of Facebook and Twitter Uber WhatsApp etc .We have the population and we do not need to be enslaved in our own countries
